The cool breeze hit her nerves, and the need to shift and run around the woods was imminent. But she felt lazy at the same time, the day had been long, and all she wanted was to take a stroll and clear her head. Working with royals made life uneasy for the mere workers, as their needs must be placed first before yours. But truth be told, the distraction was necessary.

If the Luna hadn't been so preoccupied with her own problems, she would have been wallowing in the self-pity and depression she found herself in the past week.

Becca heaved as she walked towards the foot of the large rock tree that looked good enough to sit on. Everyone like to call it the protective tree as it overlooked the whole of the night howler's pack. It is just some minutes away from the palace. Easing herself to the ground, she inhaled the familiar scent of a cold night, holding her leg up to her chest. The serenity calmed her nerves, and she felt more relaxed.
