Alexander's POV...

I was practically giggling like an excited five-year-old to the annoyance of Caleb. I thought it was of general knowledge that when you are angry at night, the morning comes with a new day and all, your anger dissipates, and you become brand new.

Nothing in this world applies to Caleb, and it really sucks. He came into the office looking beat as if he would really love to wipe me off the earth if given a chance to.

I didn't do anything wrong; everyone was just acting weird. I could have sworn Becca had her nose up when she greeted me this morning. Their sour mood had almost put me into a recluse but seems like the goddess was on my side. I came to the office to a piece of good news, it might be considered bad to others, but it made me really happy.

If glares could cut a hole through one's body or heart, Caleb's would have definitely ripped tons of it through me.

"Can you quit staring at me that way? You look like an outdated version of the boogieman." I blinked.
