A Life-Altering decision

As the days dragged on, Aurora's solitude became a prison, her mind ensnared by Alpha kael's contract terms. The weight of her responsibilities as a mother and and daughter threatened to crush her. As Aurora remained indoors, lost in thought about the contract, Alpha Kael's rival reveled in spreading venomous rumors, aiming to tarnish his reputation and usurp his position as Alpha.

Meanwhile, Annie's curiosity got the better of her, and she hastened to Alpha Ryker's residence, eager to learn about Aurora's meeting with Alpha Kael. Two days had passed since their encounter, and Annie's excitement was palpable as she arrived at the house.

After exchanging pleasantries with Alpha Ryker, Annie learned that Aurora had barely eaten or left her room in two days. Alpha Ryker expressed his concern, and Annie reassured him that she would speak with Aurora and ensure everything was well.

Annie knocked on Aurora's door, and after several attempts, Aurora finally opened it. Annie entered the room, her eyes scanning Aurora's frail form. "What is wrong with you Aurora, she asked in a concerned tone, "I can sense that your wolf is weak," she said, her voice filled with empathy. "Alpha Ryker said you've barely eaten or left this room in two days. Is something troubling you? You know you can confide in me, and together we'll work through it. You're not alone, Aurora. You have your unborn pup, and from you they draw their strength and perceive what the world yet seen would look like and how it would receive them. How do you think they would perceive it if you aren't happy or going through rough phases alone at every stage? Tell me, did Alpha Kael or his family say or do something wrong? Did Valtira upset you? Tell me Aurora, and I'll ensure that Alpha Kael and his family are brought to justice by the people.

"No Annie, they is really no need for that" Aurora said with a calm voice. Annie's words were a balm to Aurora's weary soul, and she began to open up about the contract's suffocating terms, the weight of her responsibilities, and the fear that had taken up residence in her heart. As she spoke, Annie listened intently, her expression a mask of happiness and concern," I can understand your worries Aurora", Annie spoke in a concerned tone "but i want you to always remember that you do not walk alone. As much as i'd love to help you in this aspect Aurora i can't because this decision has to be yours and yours alone to make. I can only stand by you and whatever you decide. And i know that you will do what is best, but first you need to freshen up and eat something so you don't end up in the hospital bed admit all of these. I'll go get something for you to eat" Annie said as she stood to her feet and made her way out of the room while Aurora nodded in agreement and made her way to the shower room.

Aurora's meal was interrupted by a surprise guest, the least most expected guest. Alpha Ryker excused himself, leaving the women alone. Alpha Kael's grandmother's warm smile and gentle demeanor put Aurora at ease. She was accompanied by a maid and driver carrying baskets of fruits and ointment. "Aurora, my child," she said warmly, embracing Aurora as they sat down together. The maid and driver discreetly withdrew, giving them privacy. Aurora felt a sense of comfort in the grandmother's presence.

"Aurora dear, I brought fruits and ointments to help you during your pregnancy journey," Kael's grandmother said lovingly. She had a way of making Aurora feel like everything would be okay. Aurora's tears flowed uncontrollably as she struggled to express her gratitude. The grandmother's eyes filled with concern as she wiped away Aurora's tears. "What's wrong, child?" she asked softly. "Did i say something wrong?" Aurora shook her head, feeling a lump form in her throat.

Kael's grandmother embraced Aurora, wiping away her tears. "Don't worry, child, all will be well," she said softly. Aurora felt a sense of comfort in her presence. "Have you had a chance to speak with the Alpha?" she asked gently. Aurora nodded, feeling a mix of emotions. "And what did he say?" her grandmother inquired, her eyes filled with concern.

Annie retrieved the contract paper, which Kael's grandmother read quickly, her expression mixed. She seemed to be processing everything, her mind working overtime. After a few moments, she looked up at Aurora with love and reassurance and promised, "I'll speak to my grandson immediately." Her voice was filled with love and hope and Aurora felt a surge of hope.

Kael's grandmother called out to her maid and instructed, "Stay with Aurora and attend to her every need until she puts birth." The maid nodded, her eyes filled with kindness. "I'll return to check on you soon, Aurora," her grandmother said, her voice filled with warmth. "Thank you, Annie, for always being there for her."

Aurora felt a sense of gratitude towards Kael's grandmother. As they bid their farewells, Aurora felt a sense of peace wash over her. She knew that everything would be okay, thanks to Kael's grandmother. The grandmother's visit had been a turning point, and Aurora was grateful.

Kael's grandmother got home and was hurriedly greeted by Kael's mother who was eager to know if all was well with Aurora and the unborn pup. "Nothing is well Rachel," she said to her daughter-in-law as she sat down gently filled with disappointment. Rachel sat down beside her, her eyes filled with questions. "What is it, mother?"

"Kael has presented Aurora with a proposal," his grandmother explained, her voice even.

"What kind of proposal?" Rachel asked, her curiosity piqued.

"He's offering to provide for Aurora and her family's every need, secure her dream job, and significantly enhance her well-being," she replied.

"That sounds really good mother ," Rachel said happily "what's the price tag, Mother? What's Kael demanding in exchange for his generosity?"

Her mother's expression turned grim, her eyes clouding with concern. "Aurora would have to surrender her pups, relinquishing all maternal rights and responsibilities. But that's not all - she would be forever silenced, forbidden from ever revealing her true relationship with her children. No visits, no contact, no trace of her existence in their lives. It's a fate worse than exile, Rachel, i wouldn't even wish that kind of fate for my most hated enemy. It's erasure." Rachel's heart raced at the thought, her mind reeling with the weight of such a sacrifice. "What has Aurora decided, Mother? Will she accept this cruel bargain?" "I wish i knew Rachel, i really wish i knew. It's a really tough decision for her at such a young age. kael's grandmother added quickly. "I just really need to speak to kael before it's too late" she stares into blank space.
