After apologizing to Draven over and over again for keeping the information about my mom hidden, he finally forgave me. As he drove to the main pack entrance, though, his mood changed entirely. His grip on the steering wheel tightened the closer we got to the entrance. "You'll break the steering." I pointed out, earning a side glance so brief that I almost felt like I imagined it.

"Seriously, babe, you need to calm down." I urged, earning another silence treatment. With a sigh, I leaned on my leather seat and instead enjoyed the sight of the trees zooming past us.
