Two days after the mating and marking, I sat in my office, going through every single treaty my father had signed. Melody was checking up on pups with her new friend Daisy after hours of making love. As I came to the treaty between my pack and the Starfall pack, the grip on the pen I was holding tightened. The name on the file alone stirred a boiling feeling inside of me.
