VENITA: I anxiously perched on the edge of the uncomfortable chair in the Doctor's office, my mind racing with a thousand thoughts. The white walls seemed to laugh at me for some reason as I waited for the doctor. I had asked Cross to drive me to the nearest hospital so I could get myself checked out again. LANDON:Bound by an unrelenting agony, I teetered on the brink of consciousness, only to be yanked back into the torment each time I succumbed to unconsciousness by something cold being placed on my forehead to revive me.
