Killian
How can I improve my patience and learn to conceal my emotions after serving as Serena's bodyguard for 10 years? It has become necessary for me to suppress my feelings, as it is not permitted for a Zeta like myself to display emotions. My father often reminds me that I will inherit his estate and become the leader of the soldiers in the crimson bloodpack. Therefore, it is crucial for me to develop the ability to hide my emotions.
I must admit, there were moments when I struggled to maintain my composure. This was mainly due to the constant need to protect Serena, who can be quite stubborn. Despite my repeated warnings, she would insist on leaving the mansion grounds.
Taking a deep breath, I contemplated whether it would be more fulfilling to be in a war zone rather than serving as a guard for an irritating princess like Serena. However, before I could gather my thoughts, a bolt of lightning narrowly missed me and struck the princess directly.
My eyes widened in shock as I witnessed Serena collapsing to the ground. Without hesitation, I rushed to her side.
"Princess!" I exclaimed, noticing a wound on her right arm near the shoulder. Her blood had a distinct royal hue, indicating her lineage from the first clan. While the blood of those from the second clan near the first clan was not the same, it had an almost orange-red color. Serena's eyes were closed, and she appeared to be in pain.
"Serena!" I called out, my voice filled with concern, and she slowly opened her eyes.
"What was that expression on your face, Killian?" she asked, noticing my fear.
I clenched my teeth. Serena always reacted this way whenever she got hurt.
In her younger days, she had a habit of running around, and as her protector, it was my responsibility to follow her. However, despite her tough exterior, she was quite clumsy and would frequently injure herself. Each time she got hurt, her father would place the blame on me, holding me accountable for her minor wounds. Yet, she remained oblivious to this fact. Perhaps that's why she continued to act recklessly. I doubted she would stop, even if she became aware of the consequences. It seemed she took pleasure in witnessing my suffering.
That's why my anger towards her grew day by day. But in this particular moment, all my anger had vanished. I wasn't sure if it was due to my racing heartbeat or some other reason entirely.
Just as I was about to lift her up, I heard footsteps approaching from all directions. Swiftly, I wrapped a scarf around both of us, concealing our faces. If they recognized us as high-ranking members of the group, the rogue individuals among them would undoubtedly kill us on the spot. And the princess... Only a select few Redblood clans were aware of her true identity. I couldn't fathom what would happen if that person discovered it. Fortunately, Serena was dressed in a royal blue gown, which helped to conceal any bloodstains. I also draped her in her cloak, even though I knew her wounds would heal within a few hours. Still, I wanted to keep them covered.
I had to remain alert. Serena was by my side, and I had to remember that.
But how could I protect her when our assailants were a gang of vindictive villains?
Among them were individuals seeking justice, people who had lost family members in the war. There were also those who rejected assistance from their leader and instead blamed the Alpha.
“Finally, we apprehended a wealthy individual. I assume your family would be willing to offer a substantial sum of money to secure your release.”
I unsheathed my blade and positioned myself in front of Serena, who lay unconscious on the floor.
To my surprise, a group of criminals surrounded the entire area.
I couldn't help but wonder how they managed to bypass our borders. I had assumed that we had stationed numerous soldiers at every corner of our perimeter.
"Don't come any closer!" I shouted. The older gentleman, with his long gray hair tied back in a ponytail, moved up and down with each step. However, one of the attackers brandished his gun. I deflected his sword strike and retaliated with a swing of my own sword.
The blade of my sword came dangerously close to severing the opponent's neck. I quickened my pace, but another one of the villains appeared out of nowhere.
"You're quite skilled for a young man like yourself," the old man commented.
"Who the hell are you?" I demanded, pointing my sword at him. I knew at that moment that they were renegades, but I wanted to divert their attention to buy some time. By now, I was certain that the other soldier had discovered his fallen comrade and was defending the area.
Cease your fighting if you wish for this precious little life to survive.
I turned around and noticed a man pointing his sword at Serena.
With a smug expression on his face, I could tell he wasn't bluffing. If Serena were to be harmed, the alpha would be furious and these individuals might pose an even greater threat to her. My entire family would be at risk. However, if we were to accompany them, there might be a slim chance of escaping with them.
Still, I knew my odds were slim. I approached Serena.
"We will go with you, but do not lay a hand on her. Allow me to carry her. Otherwise, I will fight until my last breath," I explained, feigning readiness for a fight. Of course, it was all a bluff. I wasn't foolish enough to let them harm Serena in any way.
"Hurry up, we don't have all day, young man," the older gentleman urged. I wanted to proceed cautiously, but I suspected they wouldn't allow it. They might even try to take Serena from my arms, which I wouldn't allow.
After walking for about an hour, we arrived at a halt in front of a massive mountain. This mountain was notorious for being a treacherous place, teeming with dangerous animals. It was one of the reasons why our village was slowly depleting its food supply.
I wasn't sure what we were supposed to do in a place like this. Would they allow us to hunt and gather wild animals for sustenance?
Someone greeted us at the base of the mountain. They were dressed in animal skins, their features completely concealed by black paint, and their eyes sent shivers down my spine as they scrutinized us. My heart raced with panic.
We were in grave danger.
KyzerThe fire vanishes into thin air. I could still feel the heat all over my body while I was catching my breath.I panicky searched my eyes to search for my brother.then crawled into him slowly."Hey Killian, wake up bro. You couldn't die like this. "I almost panicked while shaking his body."Don't worry, he was just healing inside. Just a few moments and he would wake up. "I tilt my head up to the person who just talked.I narrow my eyes. "Who are you, by the way?"The woman smiles. She has curly black shiny hair. has a dark skin but is beautiful."I was the leader of the witches in the real world. when we sensed that the royal blood soldier was in danger. We make a sacrifice to return here inside the prison box.Even if we knew that we couldn't go back if the royal blood soldier died in the hands of the hybrid. Wanda is a thousand-year old half-witch, wolf, and vampire. Who do we think has already escaped from his coffin? The underworld that all of the creatures back then joint
KillianI wanted to thank the Alpha because every whip that he gave me My real senses are coming back. I was a royal blood soldier. And I do have a task: kill the hybrid. Aside from that, I know that by doing this, Serena might come back to her senses as well.and hoping that if she did, we would return or wake up in this past memory, but no matter how difficult or frustrating it was, none of this would haunt me. I could just see Serena's simple smile or laugh. Every time that she escaped to come and visit the falls, it was enough for me to get through all of the whipping of the alpha. Besides, it was not that painful. In just a few hours, all of the wounds would be healed immediately.Serena wouldn't see it until the next day when we would see each other. It irritates me at times because it appears she doesn't care if someone is punished as a result of her actions. but I realized that she doesn't have any idea that we've been through a lot of punishment because of her. And maybe just
Kyzer"I have to help my brother." I tried to stand up, but Adriana didn't want me to.Killian was surrounded by a huge fire in front of us while he was with Serena. I never lost my content to them when they were fighting. Killian was using his sword while the girl was using a fire which she made into a sword. Though I was wondering why the sword that the girl made was so very huge. It's like she doesn't want to go near or be touched by her foe.But when my brother grabs her hands when Killian has a chance, they are suddenly surrounded by a huge fire. But the thing is, he suddenly didn't move, or should I say, the two of them didn't move. No one could get into them to help Killian out of the fire. But I could not just stay here doing nothing like this. It was my brother, for Pete's sake."He was surrounded by a fire. What are we going to do, Kyzer?"Clode asked while I was fucking preoccupied standing here."I've got to save my brother. Whatever it takes, I have to save him.""But you
Joshaque"Where is that damn royal blood soldier?"The voice of a girl suddenly appears out of nowhere. However, a huge wolf with a white hue and the color of ... wait? the Princess's emerald eyes?I shook my head. I don't want to think that the wolf would be the princess since we both know that we were just turned when the moon was full and sometimes if we were strong enough already, we were able to control our wolf form, so it would be up to us if we were going to turn that full moon. But maybe because this is only the second time the princess has turned into a wolf, that is why her turning was unexpected.I was looking intently into the wolf that, later on, was slowly changing into a beautiful girl who I am so familiar with. All of the Crimson Blood pack amazingly looking at her. They were all happy, but when a fire suddenly came out of her hand and just pointed it at us, we panicked."She was not our Princess. I know Serena very well. Stay away from her! " I shouted, and some of t
Killian"What is happening to you? Why did you come here all alone?"I shouted while I was running to my brother. I immediately carried him on my back. He was bleeding to death and I was shaking in fear. I can't help but feel that my brother was very important to me and that I don't want to lose him, no matter how stubborn he is.Adriana and Clode were following me behind. We are now going back to where all of the people that we've been protecting were waiting for us. I was just hoping that nothing happened to them while I was away.Earlier, when Adriana asked me where Kyzer was and went through the woods to look for my brother, I suddenly felt guilty because I know that there is something happening to my twin brother, so that's why I followed them. And I am glad that I did because if I didn't, I may have lost my brother just like that.He may be healed because I noticed that it was a wolf. Our wound was easily healed after how many hours?I come to a halt for a moment when I hear Adr
AdrianaI've been walking for almost an hour but still haven't seen even the shadow of Kyzer. However, while I was walking into the woods, I heard someone talking, so I stopped and walked very silently.I took a deep breath and tried to peek from the bushes where I was hiding, and I saw some random man talking behind Kyzer. But a step backward when I saw that the man bit Kyzer's neck.I know that I was not dreaming. All that I was seeing was real.My heartbeat was so fast. But I didn't know why I felt like I was scared and shaking inside. This is the first time I've seen something like this. I've seen a lot of monsters since I stepped here, but those monsters that are eating flesh don't make me feel like this. There is something about this creature that makes my body shake inside in fear. However, when I stepped backward, I didn't notice that I stepped into a dead branch. That made a sound and the creature who was busy biting Kyzer turned his head in my direction.I was shaking in fea
