Chapter 46 | Catch Up

We follow Raven and Nick back to a small cottage. I don’t know how they built it or if I created it or what… but I’m glad to know they haven’t just been sleeping on the ground the past like 18 years. Although, if they were it would’ve been soft because of the velvet.

We go inside the cottage and Nick leads us to their small dining table with just two seats. He nods and says, “I’m sure the two of you will want to sit.”

I take the seat immediately but Tony seems a bit more wary and he asks, “How did this happen? How did the two of you end up here?”

Raven sighs, “As you know, Quirina has the power to absorb powers and as a baby she absorbed Nick’s. She didn’t know how to control it and for some reason, I assume because of the trauma of it all, she couldn’t take us back out.”
