My mouth feels dry as I hear that Peyton’s mate’s scent is on me. It could only be two people, Tony or Franklin.

A part of me hopes that it’s Franklin, but then again, Bryce didn’t seem too keen on his siblings. Would Franklin be a good match for her?

I nod, “Of course, follow me. I just left our future Gamma, Franklin.”

Bryce’s eyebrows raise and it’s obvious that he’s pleased with the thought of his sister being with him. Bryce is by my side as I walk and Peyton is a few feet behind us. As we walk I say, “Your brothers came to say goodbye to me.”

I glance over at him to get a small glimpse of his expression. He doesn’t seem very pleased by it and he asks, “How did that go?”

I shrug, “It was fine. They just wanted to give me a formal good-bye and see if I was happy about meeting my mate.”

This causes him to have a cheeky grin and says, “Well, I hope the answer was obviously.”
