Chapter Fifteen

Kaya’s POV

We ventured into his office, I put my hands behind my back and glanced around. It had creme-shaded walls with an enormous window that showed the forest toward the rear of the pack grounds. A dark work area sat in the centre, he likewise had a shelf closest in his work area and sofas on the other side of the room. There were additionally two seats positioned before his work area. His fragrance was all over and to me, it was calming.

I strolled over to his shelf to see what he had, perhaps a book I might read until he finished chipping away at his pack work.

"You can read one if you want." his voice reverberated around the room, I looked over to him to see him heading for his work area.

Nodding my head, I glanced through his shelf and saw he had one of my top choices; 'North and South'. Without wavering, I got it from the rack and opened it and advanced towards one of his sofas. Preferably, the one nearest to his work area, it made me feel more secure being near him.
