Chapter 4

Annabelle

My sister enters the room and looks at me with a worried look . I'm still in a lot of pain . The doctor couldn't allow me to leave but Jason still thought it was a good idea to have get married immediately. I argued with him and he agreed to wait for a few weeks.

I look at the time on my wrists and it's only 8:30 am. What is going on? I think Jason is trying to test my nerves right now . Of course I may not be love with Jason but I need to get married to him. It's a life and death situation right now and to think that I'm in a full puffy wedding gown that my mum had forced me to wear i. I have sucked my stomach in for hours and to think I was just discharged from the hospital yesterday is what's killing me. Where the hell is he?

"You need to calm down , "my sister speaks as she eyes me up and down like a lunatic.

"Telling someone to calm down when they are completely through the roof has never worked ! " I answer back with a frown.

"I can't believe you are getting married to Jason! "Olive sighs loudly.

My sister rushed to me as soon as she got the news. She didn't have the proper time to digest the news because I'm still digesting it too.

"Well this is the only thing that save us , " I answer meekly.

"Are you really sure ? "she raises her eyebrows .

"I don't know Olive , "I shake my head in defeat and continue, "He is not even here right now . He is late. "

"look maybe he is late but he will defiantly come okay maybe he is stuck in traffic or-"

"The groom isn't supposed to be late for his wedding is he ? "I glare at my sister and she keeps quiet instantly. The last time this happened I found Ben in the hands of an woman .

"It's not Ben , "my sister speaks as she reads my mind.

"Please don't mention his name , "I scold her

"Alright, "Olive lifts her hands in surrender.

Everytime I call him . It would just go straight to voicemail . Every freaking time! I'm going to lose it completely. He knows how important it is for us to get married . At this point I'm just desperate. This makes me feel like I'm reliving my past.

And today he just had to do the worst possible thing . I can't believe this is going to happen . I pace back and forth waiting for his message or a call but there is still silence . There is no way I'm doing this alone

I look at the officant's face and smile nervously as my husband-to-be takes his precious time to show up. I hope I'm not getting stood up on my wedding day again.

The doors burst open and Jason comes into the room with all his glory. The dark charcoal gray suit hugs his muscles tightly and His midnight black hair is swept back neatly. He glances at me for awhile with his sharp green eyes and rakes my body for a few minutes . He looks at me with a stony gaze like the simple dress I picked wasn't enough or simply just ugly .

"This was supposed to be a private thing not a clown party , "he mutteers under his breath and comes forward without sparing a glance at me

My sister drops her jaw and looks at me in shock wondering if I heard that too but I pretend that I didn't hear that so I just look at the floor in embarrassment. The urge to bite his head off is so strong but I fight it off because this will be my husband for years

The officiant starts talking and I take a deep breath as sweat drips down my back due to the anxiety I have in my heart . I can't believe I'm getting married right now . I can't believe I'm getting married to some one who is not my mate .Well to be fair he is someone I hate completely but Ben was okay .

The officant asks us to exchange vows before the rings and I nervously fish out a crumpled paper I had folded this whole time.

I open it with a shaky hands and start reading the few words that I have. When I open my mouth to speak I realize that the words sound robotic and fake.

"Never mind , "I say as I crush the paper with my palms and throw it on the ground.

The officiant looks at me in shock and turns to Jason for his vows but he just keeps quiet without saying anything.We move on to the next phase by exchanging the rings which is also robotic and awkward.

"You may kiss the bride , "the officiant speaks.

"There's no need , "I splutter and Jason quirks his eyebrow . His facial expression is unreadable but I'm sure he would not want to kiss me.

"alright Madam "the officant answers with a sigh.

After the tedious process of signing the paper work . Jason and I are allowed to go out as a couple.

I finger the gold band on my finger nervously as we enter the car. Jason doesn't say anything to me as well. He has been silent ever since the ceremony.

When we get out of the car . I stand outside as we reach his house . It is near the pack house but it is very simple and cozy . I stand in awe as I look at the house and wait for Jason to take me inside.

When he does , he doesn't speak to me or look in my direction. He leads me to a room that I think might be ours and opens the front door. The room is simple and plain just like I expected. The walls are gray with a huge window that gives a view if the forest outside. Everything about the room compliments each other. The gray and white colour is so plain and quite frankly disgusting.

"This is your room. Your suitcases and stuff will be brought to you later , "he speaks.

"What about you ? Aren't you going to sleep with me ? "I ask incredulously. I'm happy that I don't get to sleep with him right away but this is not how I have to prove to people that I'm married .

"No Annabelle , "he simply answers and walks out without any other word.

" But for how long? "I whisper as I watch him leave the room.

I look at the big bed in front of me. It looks so plain and boring. I sit on the edge of the bed comfortably and look at the view of the forest through the window in front of me . This is officially the beginning of my hell.
