Nathan and she had been sleeping in separate rooms since that night, neither of them broke into anyone's bedroom.
Nathan gave her his space so that she could be quiet without any problems, but he wanted to be able to tell her everything that was on his mind, even though that seemed to be impossible with their current situation. Nathan did not want to twist her arm and she told herself that she would not ask him for any more explanations.
She walked down the stairs, putting on some earrings and watching Nathan walk out the front door as Liam did. Nicole stood waiting for her with her backpack and looking at her phone.
-We'd better get going.

Nathan held his son in his arms, while Booke held the girl. After Booke had fainted, the men Nathan's father had sent to fetch Booke and take her back to him arrived, but now they were taking them both to Nathan's house on Yaser's orders. Nathan watched as Booke held his little girl while she nursed her. When they arrived at Nathan's house, the doors were opened for them. Nathan waited until Booke was next to him; she only had a blanket covering her nakedness and not that she liked how those untraded alphas looked at her with lustful eyes. Booke and Nathan started walking towards the entrance of the house, where the boys were in the living room with their rosary in their mouths because they had not heard anything from Nathan since he had gone into the forest to look for Booke.

Booke looked out the window facing the street to see the sky, which was being hidden by black clouds that announced that it was already going to rain. She sighed heavily as her baby began to stir in there. Although she still didn't know what the sex was, she felt it was a boy... But she was more than sure it was not just one, but two. The door opened revealing a very beautiful beta with a tray of food. Booke frowned and sat down on the bed to take the food the girl had left for him. He thought repeatedly if maybe the food was poisoned, but his hunger overcame anything that crossed his mind.

Nathan arrived at the house with a smile on his face, but it was wiped off the moment he saw all his men lying on the floor, obviously dead. His alpha senses were alerted to the fullest, so he ran towards the house feeling Liam's footsteps. When he entered the dwelling, he saw Nicole lying on the floor passed out and feared the worst, due to the drowsy gas in the air. Liam grabbed Nicole in his arms because she was reacting. When Nicole knew where she was and instantly remembered what was happening, she threw herself crying in Liam's arms, who hugged her in an overprotective way; she was already feeling things for that pretty-eyed omega, or rather, she was already feeling them. -What the hell happened here? -Nathan asked, totally furious about what was going on. Liam looked over to where Nicole's brother was standing and something about that guy told him he couldn't be trusted no matter how many years he had working at the mansion as security. That guy never seemed like a good person at all, he was hiding something..., something told him he was not to be trusted. A message on his phone made him look away from him and his friends. -Shit," was all that came out of her mouth. This must be a joke. -He put his phone in his pocket, putting aside what he was doing. -Can you give me a ride into town? -Nathan appeared in his path. I have some errands to do before Booke gets back from college. -I was just coming to get you. -He showed her the message. I must leave the country ahead of schedule. -Take it easy, Liam. -He got in the car.
