MARCUS P.O.V

I walked out of the house during sunset to receive some fresh air. Morgan was already in his self contained and Zoey and her mother, Emily were probably inside preparing dinner. I had no clue what Travis could be up to but that wasn't until I heard the door open and I turned to see him walk out with a hunter's gun around his shoulder.

"Hey," He said immediately he spotted me. "Is there a problem?"

"No, I just needed some air," I answered, still staring at his hunters gun and when he noticed I started he asked me If I would like to go hunting with him and I agreed because it was in fact a wonderful idea and soon after we launched into the forest.

It wasn't long enough before we spotted our first prey, ahead of us was an antelope hiding behind the foliage of a tree.

"Shh…" Travis hissed as we hid behind the stem of a tree and with his gun aimed at the target he released the bullet only to get a miss.

under the sunset I could see him frown In disappointment and we forged a

MARCUS P.O.VWhy was the house thronged by police cars? It could be just a scene which broke out in someone's home or probably something else, but why was the sense that their gathering had something to do with Alicia so strong?"Excuse me sir," I said to one of the officers who just finished having a phone call as he put his cell phone into his side pocket."Yes, how may I help you?" He asked."Can I know the reason why you are all gathered here?" I asked as he twitched his eyebrows and his eyes turned pale."We have a missing girl, her name is Alicia Lindsey," He said as he took out a picture of her, lifting upwards before my face. "She is the daughter of one of our most prominent detectives, Eddie Lindsey. Have you seen her by any chance?" He asked but all I could do was stare in shock.my mind was far from his question, Alicia was truly in trouble."Sir," the policeman's voice called me off my thoughts. "Have you seen her by any chance?""No, I haven't," I answered then looked tow

ALICIA'S P.O.VI heard chattering sounds ahead of me and without doubt I knew that it was one of the werewolves trying to open up the iron door into the confined room where I was chained with one large chain hanging from an iron window to my wrist. My hands were already hurting badly from last night's chaos, I had been pulled around like a sack from place to place and might have been torn apart if not for Caroline and a few others had taken me out of their midst.I crawled backwards in fear when the door opened up and Eva walked in."Hello Alicia," She said in a taunting manner. "You were lucky that the plan didn't go through last night but no doubt tonight is an excellent night for you to be burnt in ashes. When the moon comes up my father Alpha Gath will request to bring you up and you will be killed," she said and while breathing out threats we heard a knock on the door and Jason walked in with a tray of meal as he gently placed it on the floor before me."Who asked you to bring he

MARCUS P.O.VEddie had accepted my assistance in searching for his daughter, and we had spent the day gathering clues from the pack as most people had affirmed that they had seen five youths venture into the haunted house. They concluded it to be another fun game just like the rollercoaster however Eddie and I knew that something more than a game took place inside. We had taken a few pictures as evidence which included a ride which was wrecked, footprints of someone running deeper into the house and other complicated footprints and handprints on the walls but there was no telling of what had happened. It was already a few minutes before nine o'clock and Eddie and I had arrived at his house an hour earlier. I was getting set to leave but before I did I made a coffee for him as I carried it out to the sitting room. He was still seated on the sofa chair in the same posture with his palm wrapped together, the pictures we took were on the table before him and he was lost in his thoughts."

MARCUS P.O.V Some minutes later we all sat to hear what had happened to her and the young man who said his name was Tyler. She explained how some people had seized her after they made it into the haunted house and how when she awoke, she found herself in a building but I knew she was hiding part of the details."Who captured you because from our research most of your friends must have been a part of this conspiracy," One of the reporters asked her.Alicia sprained her eyebrows as she told them that she never saw their faces. "The lights went off and all I knew was that some people were after me but I couldn't tell who they were," She said."And where were your other friends?" The reporter asked."I had no idea," she shook her head abruptly. "One moment Tyler was with me and the next he wasn't there and when I had called out to the others none of them were anywhere around," She answered."So what you are saying is that your friends were also victims to this crime and not suspects?" MARCUS P.O.VThat noon I walked the street like a complete wanderer. It was almost like my father's curse was walking on me. I was both a lone wolf and without a home however i wasn't totally hopeless,I had a goal and that was to keep my mate safe and prove my parents wrong about their decision to drive me away and I am grateful that I met a few loving folk which I can't classify as family since they don't have a clue about my cruel werewolf side.By eight p.m. that day I walked into a club house. I don't know why I was there because I hated the noise but I just needed something to distract me from the tragic feeling of disappointing my pack. The music was loud and many people were dancing under the different colours of light flickering at the centre while I walked down to a counter where drinks were being served."Hello," I said to have the attention of an Irish skin coloured lady who just finished attending to a customer and she lifted her gaze to me but lingered.I had no clue the

MARCUS P.O.V My eyes were still dizzy the next time I realized myself but this time I could feel that i was no longer in the loud and noisy club hall rather I was on a bed.I tried to move my arms but they were weak. My head was resting on a soft pillow and my eyes staring directly at the blue bulb on the ceiling and finally I heard the sound of the door.I couldn't move but I managed to push my eyes to the entrance and there under the shady light I saw someone walk in closing the door gently I looked away again and I heard the sound of the door lock. It's even worse now because whoever it is was only setting a trap for herself, she was planning her own death at every reckless step she made.I might be weak for now but only the moon king knows what will happen to her if she touches my body. Still in my thoughts I felt the weight of someone on the bed as I looked sideways, I recognised it was a lady but I still wasn't sure which one since my sight was blurry.Seated by my side she to

ALICIA'S P.O.V My eyes fluttered open the next morning as the first thought that came into my mind was the kiss I received from Marcus last night. I don't know why but it put a smile on my face as I held my pillow close to my chest.I whined in happiness and I just couldn't wait for his next visit. Why did I let him leave?I shoved myself off my bed as I walked down to the door, I had to check up on Eddie to know if he was already dressed up for work which i knew he would, I grabbed my cell phone as I made my way down stairs to the sitting room and I found him already dressed up but he was in a conversation with someone over the phone.I could tell from his countenance that it was bad news so immediately after the call went off I walked up to him and said. "Hi dad, Is everything alright?" "Yes," He sprained his eyebrows after another sharp sigh. "I was just informed of a fight which took place In a nightclub and it left a young man in a critical state," "How bad is it?" I asked"My

MARCUS P.O.V"Buzz... buzz… buzz…" The vibration of my phone awoke me from my sleep as I gently opened my eyes. I was so weak and could feel my head spinning. Where am I? I whispered to myself, gently sitting up. It was a small stable with grasses littered on the floor as I could see three horses and beside me was a manger.I couldn't tell how I got here and even as I tried to think my head gave me hurting bangs in return, I pulled my gaze away from the horses to my hands."Goodness," My eyes spring wide and my heart begins racing at my sight. My hands were covered in blood and my shirt was stained in bloodI hovered my eyes back to the horses to see if I had hurt any of them but I didn't, and just that instant I recalled the lady who had tried to rape me last nightThe visions of what happened weren't still clear but I knew something occurred. Zoey asked."No, I haven't really thought about it lately," he replied."Hold on, are you…" "Don't even complete that statement," Maxwell interrupted Zoey. "I've been occupied with other things and I am sure the right time will come." The place was silent for a while. "I'm sorry, I almost forgot how hard it is when viewing the world from your eyes. It must have been dark," Zoey said."It was, but thanks to my parents who gleamed light on me," Maxwell replied. Alicia, Maxwell and Stiles were also with me.We went upstairs as we walked through a fancy door which opened up to a large and furnished room. There was a large round table at the center of the room and an elderly man was seated on one of the chairs.“Mr. Lucas, your guests have arrived,” the man who brought us in announced.Lucas’ eyes lit the moment he saw us. “Oh, please take a seat,” he said with a cheerful smile on his face and we all did. “This must be your beautiful wife Alicia Lindsey.”“Yes, she is,” I replied then furrowed my eyebrows in uncertainty. “How did you know?” I asked. He lifts his eyebrows. “Well, news flies these days, especially giv

ALICIA P.O.VIt hurts so much to think I was wrong but it hurts even more to give up trying. I had always fought to have even if it was a moment with my son but now at the verge of losing everything I realized I had made a terrible mistake.I saw his deadly fangs above me; they were ready to rip off my bones. His claws were more painful than anything I had ever felt. I had lost him to the darkness. All these could have been avoided if not for my greed. If I had sacrificed him earlier, I would have been able to save everyone.I was about to take my last breath when I heard a clash. I opened my eyes and Maxwell was off me. I looked sideways to see Marcus struggling to hold him back from getting to me.‘No,’ I thought to myself as I transformed into a human. I struggled on my feet. If anyone had to die while trying to stop him then it would be me.“Maxwell, stop please,” I yelled but my voice ended in a whisper. While approaching, I watched Maxwell hit Marcus severally until he returned

  • The Alpha's Catalyst   BLOOD MOON; THE DAY WE FEARED

MARCUS P.O.VFinally it’s time, the dark clouds had covered the sky and it was only thirty minutes before the blood moon rises. We were all in the woods, far deep into the island and as far away as possible from the main city. There were a lot of us. Alicia and I were only standing about ten feet away from Maxwell while Ronald, Wilfred and Flynn were chaining him to the trees. We found the best spot in the forest with the largest trees and we also used multiple large iron chains in hopes that they will be able to hold him until his transformation is complete.I could already see Maxwell’s beastly eyes as he kept glaring at us.“Ronald, hurry up,” I said.“It’s almost ready,” he answered and after a while they both returned to where I was standing.“Max, you have to stay calm, you can do this,” Alicia said.“No, I can’t,” Maxwell replied. “Save me, please… Mom,” he called out.I held her back when she was about to take a step. She looked at me and I wagged my head gently."Dad, why are

MARCUS P.O.VNo one has ever done this before and I won't be doing either if the matters at hand were not delicate. Thus time Aracely won't be the one coming to me, I would be meeting her myself."Aracely!" I called as soon as I arrived at her secret grounds."Marcus," I heard her voice behind and I turned to see her standing just three feet away. "What are you doing, you should not be here." "I need answers, Aracely. Enough of the preamble… tell me what I should expect tomorrow," I said."I have already told you everything you have to know. Tomorrow will crown his fate and the chance he will be good is slim, it might not work so you must be prepared," She replied."No, let me look at it myself," I said."That has never happened since the history of Alpha’s, you cannot use that sacred tool," She said.“It doesn’t matter now. If my son falls into the darkness he will destroy you and burn down this place and there will be nothing left…”“Enough! Marcus,” she interrupted me. “You have a

MARCUS P.O.V“Hi everyone, my name is Maxwell Dominick and I am only doing a reintroduction in case of those of you that might have heard of me but never seen me in person. As we all know today is my birthday and I am entirely grateful to all of you for being here but most especially to my awesome parents Mr and Mrs Dominick. They have always stood by me all through, most especially my mother Alicia Dominick…”I heaved a sigh as I closed my eyes in disappointment at the last sentence he made. I looked at Alicia and I could see the huge smile over her face. I could tell that she was enjoying it. I thought I was Maxwell’s favourite but it ended up being her.“Most especially your mother, huh,” I chuckled, then looked back at the stage.“I am grateful that despite the challenges she was tough enough to face it and determined to hold on to me until the end, even if it could have killed her. When everyone gave up on me she persisted. I love you so much mom and I will love you until the end

  • The Alpha's Catalyst   TURNING EIGHTEEN; PART TWO

MARCUS P.O.VI walked inside the building while holding Alicia’s hand. The hall was filled up with both humans and werewolves as rock music filled the air. There was no strange pack present; I made sure that the sentinels never allowed any werewolf from another tribe to venture into the island.Everything was coordinated just like it should be and I trusted my pack to be great at blending in with the humans without causing any arousal, and that was all thanks to my late parents who taught them well.“Marcus, look who showed up,” Alicia said. I looked only to see that it was Katherine. I saw the excitement over Alicia’s face.“Will she be a burden to you?” I asked.“Are you kidding me,” Alicia said with a frown on her face.“Sorry, I was only joking, go on, go and have fun with your friend, I will keep an eye on things,” I said to her.“Okay, please watch Max but don’t spy on him,” she said.“Yes ma’am, but you know that they both mean the same thing…” I was yet to complete my statemen

ALICIA'S P.O.VSix years passed after we reconciled with Meredith and her son Daniel. Even after these six years Marcus had not retrieved the briefcase from Lucas. However, he Still assumed his position as the Alpha of his father's pack.He wasn't the only ruler of the pack since I was ruling beside him. To me it all seemed like a dream. And when speaking of a dream I am talking about the story of a feeble human who fell in love with a charming beast, a mortal chased and hunted by a pack for years was now ruling as Luna of the same pack that tried to kill her.Now the feeble mortal is known as the most revered Luna since the history of the Dominik's pack. And not just that, but far stronger than any Luna who had ever ruled beside the Alpha.Looking back from where I am I was grateful for everything that I had gone through.
