MARCUS P.O.V

I explained the plan to Ronald, it was a frightening burden to bear but it was just like he said; that is what friends do. The first step was to tell Alicia about the plan and next was to know how to go about it.

I took a taxi with Ronald and while we were on our way to a coffee shop I phoned Alicia and told her to meet us there as soon as possible.

A few minutes later me and Ronald arrived at the coffee shop as we walked in.

"Good day," I said to the waiter as soon as I arrived at the counter.

"Good day sir," She responded. "How can I help you?"

"I need three cups of coffee please," I said.

"Okay," She replied, then moved away from the counter. I looked back at Ronald as he walked In making his way towards me. "Did you find anyone?"

"No, we are safe," he answered in a whisper.

"Here is your coffee sir," The waiter interrupted and I sprint my gaze to her.

"Okay, thanks," I reached my hand to the tray.

"Isn't there supposed to be four coffee's?" The waiter said as I paused

ALICIA'S P.O.VThe plan has just started. I know Marcus, once he said something he was going to do it without failing. Saturday morning was always a big day for me and today was not an exception. The weather was moist as usual, and I was still in bed with my blanket over my body. I didn't feel like going out due to the cold weather but what choice do I have seeing that we had an already arranged plan.Knock! knock!I heard a knock on my bedroom door as I swung the blanket away from my body and gently sitting upright the door opened and Eddie walked in."Good morning sunshine," He said."Morning dad but we know it's about to rain," I answered sarcastically as I heaved a sigh. I noticed him flash a smile at me then walked down to meet me by the bed."What's wrong?" I asked."Nothing, why will anything be wrong?" he asked immediately after his response."The look on your face and your reactions seem different," I answered."Oh, about that…" He heaved a sigh as he sat on the bed beside me

No matter how deep I have to go, they can never have my daughter.I am on my way to meet Lily; the witch who I sent to spy on Alicia and her old friend. I just hope this so-called Kelly, is the Werewolf because if he is not then that will only mean that Marcus is.By 12:00p.m. I pulled over at the entrance into a public field as I came out of my car. I looked forward and i spotted her seated on a swing about thirty feet away fr

  • The Alpha's Catalyst   Kindness from a cold one

MARCUS P.O.VToday is a day to be remembered, it's a day that begins the battle of my identity. It almost seemed like the cloud knew how I felt and I could tell by the darkness which covered the sky.Ever since I left Eddie's House I have always had this strange feeling that something terrible was going to happen. It feels like I played a short part in an important contest and I am left in the dark awaiting the final result to be called. It feels like a game, kill or be killed.I didn't return to the hotel where I lodged, rather I located a large solitary field and I had been seated on a long bench at one end since noon. Why would Eddie request a meeting between us? I thought to myself while I stared at the moist cloud. It was already eight p.m. the place was dark and cold but the cold never bothered me. After all, I am a werewolf. We are always known as the warm ones.Could it be he knows that I had planned Alicia and Ronald's meeting? I questioned myself again but the answers were n

MARCUS P.O.VI was on my bed in my lodge when my alarm began buzzing. I opened my eyes as I turned my gaze to the wall clock."Ten o'clock," I mumbled, as I heaved a sharp sigh then faced the ceiling again. I was supposed to meet Eddie by twelve o'clock today so I had two hours to be prepared for whatever comes after our meeting.I heaved another sharp sigh as I turned my face right to the blue bracelet which Silas had given me last night. It was resting on my bedside cupboard.I haven't decided if I was going to take it along with me yet, because I still can't understand why someone who was trying to kill me would bring a gift to me.I read his mind and all I knew was that whatever reason he handed the bracelet to me must have been for protection. This was the first time I was doubting my perception.I can't trust them. I thought to myself. After a while I got off my bed as I approached my wardrobe. I opened it up and took out a blue jeans trousers and an ash coloured top. I placed i

MARCUS P.O.V"I promise, I didn't have anything to do with it," Stiles wobbled."I didn't ask if you had anything to do with it. I am asking who gave it to you?" I said with a frown on my face. His silence after my question concealed more answers than he could ever give. He might not have been in collaboration with the person who sent this to me but he definitely knows something.I frowned in anger as I looked away from him to the clock. It was already fifteen minutes before it strikes twelve so I let go of him.I walked to the table where my wrist watch was as i picked it up."Where are you going?" Stiles asked curiously but ignoring his question I approached my bedside cupboard where I had placed the blue bracelet.Staring at the bracelet I recalled what Silas said to me before he leaving. 'You have to put it on before going to see Eddie Lindsey…. I won't tell you what it does so I guess you will figure it out yourself,'"Where are you going?" Stiles’ voice called me out of my thoug

ALICIA'S P.O.VI was seated on a sofa chair in the sitting room of my house with a few pictures of the memories me and Eddie had with my late mother from when I was only about five years old.Even though many years have passed, I still miss her. I remember her singing me to bed almost every night and most nights she would always tell me about these beautiful stories. At times the stories were hideous and the rest of the time they were full of beauty.I still remember how I yearned for more and the sad face I made each moment I got disappointed."Such memories," I whispered.I was currently staring at the photo she and Eddie took with me on a horse. That was the first time I visited the zoo. At sight of the picture I got a flashback of all that took place that noon. I remember pulling Eddie's by the pants to get his attention and when I pointed at the horse I could sense my mom smiling at me."I miss you mom," I whispered, then took away the photo as I set my eyes on the next one. ALICIA'S P.O.V"Please sit," She said, making her way to the chair beside Silas as she sat down and her eyes were fixed on me.I observed her attitude and they were beyond measure. There was no doubt about her beauty and elegance but her attitude and body language were quite immature and one couldn't help but wonder how Silas was comfortable with her acting the way she was. From the looks on his face he didn't care any less. It seemed like it was okay with him so I convinced myself it shouldn't be taken too personally. Come to think of it, maybe that could be her personality and because I had a mother that was a little more decent didn't mean the parents of others had to be."So… Tell me, what did you want to ask?" Suzy asked as her eyes lit expectantly."Is it okay that I am here? if you wish I can give you two some privacy," Silas said."No, it's fine," I answered, then looked again at his mother. "I just wanted to know if perhaps we might have met before,""Of course darling. We me

MARCUS P.O.VAfter my conversation with Alicia I escorted her out of the hotel until we arrived at a crossroad where she took a cab leaving back to her house.I would have loved to escort her to her doorstep but I couldn't because I knew we had a stalker watching us just a few meters away."You can come out now Silas," I said as soon as the taxi drove off. Under the night sky Silas walked out of the shadows as he stopped about five feet away.I could still see him struggle with the irritation. His hands were handing down and his eyes were very visible."I can see now that nothing stands between you and her," he said."What are you doing here?" I asked."Nothing," he replied. "I don't see anything wrong with checking up on my old classmate,"I got agitated as soon as he said those words as I zoomed towards him. Alicia, Maxwell and Stiles were also with me.We went upstairs as we walked through a fancy door which opened up to a large and furnished room. There was a large round table at the center of the room and an elderly man was seated on one of the chairs.“Mr. Lucas, your guests have arrived,” the man who brought us in announced.Lucas’ eyes lit the moment he saw us. “Oh, please take a seat,” he said with a cheerful smile on his face and we all did. “This must be your beautiful wife Alicia Lindsey.”“Yes, she is,” I replied then furrowed my eyebrows in uncertainty. “How did you know?” I asked. He lifts his eyebrows. “Well, news flies these days, especially giv

ALICIA P.O.VIt hurts so much to think I was wrong but it hurts even more to give up trying. I had always fought to have even if it was a moment with my son but now at the verge of losing everything I realized I had made a terrible mistake.I saw his deadly fangs above me; they were ready to rip off my bones. His claws were more painful than anything I had ever felt. I had lost him to the darkness. All these could have been avoided if not for my greed. If I had sacrificed him earlier, I would have been able to save everyone.I was about to take my last breath when I heard a clash. I opened my eyes and Maxwell was off me. I looked sideways to see Marcus struggling to hold him back from getting to me.‘No,’ I thought to myself as I transformed into a human. I struggled on my feet. If anyone had to die while trying to stop him then it would be me.“Maxwell, stop please,” I yelled but my voice ended in a whisper. • The Alpha's Catalyst   BLOOD MOON; THE DAY WE FEARED

MARCUS P.O.VFinally it’s time, the dark clouds had covered the sky and it was only thirty minutes before the blood moon rises. We were all in the woods, far deep into the island and as far away as possible from the main city. There were a lot of us. Alicia and I were only standing about ten feet away from Maxwell while Ronald, Wilfred and Flynn were chaining him to the trees. We found the best spot in the forest with the largest trees and we also used multiple large iron chains in hopes that they will be able to hold him until his transformation is complete.I could already see Maxwell’s beastly eyes as he kept glaring at us.“Ronald, hurry up,” I said.“It’s almost ready,” he answered and after a while they both returned to where I was standing.“Max, you have to stay calm, you can do this,” Alicia said.“No, I can’t,” Maxwell replied. “Save me, please… Mom,” he called out.I held her back when she was about to take a step. She looked at me and I wagged my head gently."Dad, why are

I looked at Alicia and I could see the huge smile over her face. I could tell that she was enjoying it. I thought I was Maxwell’s favourite but it ended up being her.“Most especially your mother, huh,” I chuckled, then looked back at the stage.“I am grateful that despite the challenges she was tough enough to face it and determined to hold on to me until the end, even if it could have killed her. When everyone gave up on me she persisted. I love you so much mom and I will love you until the end

MARCUS P.O.VI walked inside the building while holding Alicia’s hand. The hall was filled up with both humans and werewolves as rock music filled the air. There was no strange pack present; I made sure that the sentinels never allowed any werewolf from another tribe to venture into the island.Everything was coordinated just like it should be and I trusted my pack to be great at blending in with the humans without causing any arousal, and that was all thanks to my late parents who taught them well.“Marcus, look who showed up,” Alicia said. I looked only to see that it was Katherine. I saw the excitement over Alicia’s face.“Will she be a burden to you?” I asked.“Are you kidding me,” Alicia said with a frown on her face.“Sorry, I was only joking, go on, go and have fun with your friend, I will keep an eye on things,” I said to her.“Okay, please watch Max but don’t spy on him,” she said.“Yes ma’am, but you know that they both mean the same thing…” I was yet to complete my statemen

And not just that, but far stronger than any Luna who had ever ruled beside the Alpha.Looking back from where I am I was grateful for everything that I had gone through.
