Chapter 229 Claiming

Lilac's P.O.V

I stared up at the wooden ceiling of my tiny room, watching the cobwebs accumulate and dust get stuck to the web.

I was supposed to keep my room clean, but with my graduation just round the corner…I just couldn't find it in me to give a flying fuck about this place anymore.

The night was chilly even though it was supposed to be mid-summer, but I couldn't find it in me to get to sleep. I felt too restless…too uneasy.

Sitting up in bed, l looked around the room with a sigh. It was a tiny place with a tiny bed, a closet and a book shelf. Just enough so I could have some privacy. I had an even tinier bathroom attached to the room but there was hardly any space there to even turn around. Still, at least I didn't have to share a bathroom with the other staff in the building.
