CHAPTER 43

He didn't come to bed that night. I knew because his own side of the bed was cold and untouched. It left a sour feeling in my stomach and did nothing for my mood. I tried to pay attention in class so Wade wouldn't have to go back on what he had already thought. I couldn't allow personal issues to interfere with his duties. Nyla dropped by and tried to cheer me up along with Torren but I couldn't even smile. My mood only got worse in the days that followed and Thorne didn't show up in our bedroom. I didn't see him around, both at dinner or accidentally run into him in the hallway. I knew he was around but it seemed like he had vanished into thin air.

"Hey," Torren snapped his fingers in my face.

"You've been in your head for a while now. Are you okay?" he asked with a frown and I nodded, as usual trying to smile like everything was okay.

"You haven't made any improvement in days," he said and I heard a grunt of approval coming from the other end of the room where Wade was.

I’m disappointed in alpha. When she was scared he could feel her feeling ran to her. He also didn’t want Agatha around yet takes her side. Doesn’t communicate to Ava or even tell her simple rules. He’s not good mate at all.

So she is just going to be the punching bag at this pack as well. I guess she doesn’t want to allow herself to be treated the way she should. All the things she wished for just to go to same thing might have just stayed where she was.
