CHAPTER 31

ALPHA THORNE'S POV

I open my office door, and the smell of bleach is still strong as I walk to my door, turn on all the appliances, and throw the curtains open. I sit in my chair and at that exact moment, Busta comes in with a frown etched on his face. If there was something I knew about Busta, it was his constant smiling. He never let his emotions show on his face and smiled as often as possible. To see him with such a look, I could tell that whatever happened must be very serious.

"What's wrong?" I asked unable to stop my curiosity.

"It's Agatha," he said with a weak smile as he slipped into the chair opposite me.

"What about her?" I pushed. They were as close as siblings could be but they often argued.

"I fear there is something wrong with her. She keeps acting weird and each time I bring it up, she shuts down immediately and gets defensive. I don't know. I can't help but worry" he leaned backward on the chair.

I want him to love her but he won’t know if he does until he starts actually doing things mates do like touching hugging kissing. Spending time like dates get to know her.
