MOSES'S POV

Being angry was an understatement of what I am feeling. My fists were clenched, and my teeth gritted together as I walked back to my chamber from the pack hospital.

Hearing Matilda's words that she would rather be with her twin sister at the pack hospital tonight, despite how to make her come with me, made me angry.

I wondered how she came to trust her treacherous sister that much, despite what she did to her a few months ago.

"She is still clueless and stupid after all." I voiced as I paced around the room.

I was still walking around the room angrily when I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in," I said grudgingly, half hoping that it would be Matilda.

Although part of me knew it would not be her after all because Matilda would not knock on my door since we both shared the room now. But still, a hopeful part of me chooses to share in the illusion and remain hopeful.

My doubts were confirmed and my hope shattered when the door opened and Louis walked into the room.
