14: THE BANQUET II

"The King Rogue and Queen Luna Tina has arrived!" the announcer announced the arrival of the King Rogue, and the audience slowly bowed in respect.

Queen Luna Tina, who is standing with her father, continues to stare at Alpha Arther and then Letitia, making the young woman nervous. She could feel something within Queen Luna Tina; she was glaring at her and appeared to be planning to kill her. Letitia simply smiled at the Queen and bowed. "Nice to meet you, Your Majesties," she said, but the Queen simply scoffed and smirked at her.

"Bold of you, we don't need your greetings," Queen Luna Tina says, looking at Alpha Arther. "Stay your mate away from me, Alpha Arther. She disgusts me," she said as she walked away with her Father.

"How rude!" Cashie says poutingly, looking at Queen Luna Tina's back before turning to face Letitia and looking at the Queen. "Are you okay? Her tongue is as sharp as a knife, so I know it must have hurt you," she asks, worried. Letitia just smiled warmly.

"I am fine. I am used to it anyway, besides I just greet her to give respect, I don't have any intention to have good terms with them anyway," Letitia speaks as she looks at Cashie, who is now smiling at her as well.

Cashia pushes the two men away from them because she wants to talk to the lady, whom they refer to as the girls talk. Alpha Arther may not want to be away from her, but he accepts Cashia's request because he knows that in Cashia's hands, Letitia will be safe from her. Who would dare to harm Letitia when she is with one of the most powerful and violent knights in the Rasleton Forest?

Cashia kept asking about Letitia and Arther's relationship, which caused Letitia to blush. "Well, I don't know either. I still can't say that I have feelings for him, but yeah, he had a chance," Letitia says, causing Cashia to giggle and creak a bit which surprises Letitia.

"Of course, Alpha Arther is one of the handsome men in Rasleton Forest. Ladies always head over heels but when he finally anmounce that he already had a mate, some of his girls step backwards. But don't feel easy, there will be a lot of powerful ladies in the forest who are against with your relationship as they really wanted Alpha Arther to be theirs. But Alphs Arther won't let that happen of course, he loves you so much. He is too protective!" Cashia speaks making Letitia to giggle as well.

The two maidens continue to tell stories, and Letitia unconsciously speaks about her life in her world. "You know what, after seeing your face its seems that you are very familiar. But maybe I just saw your mother one time when I had the chance to get outside of the Rasleton Forest to have business matters with someone outside," Cashia says in a way that confuses Letitia. If she really did see her mother, maybe it is because of newspapers and magazines as her mother is a well known person in human world.

The two men now approach the two with food in their hands. Alpha Arther gave Letitia a juice to drink because he knew she had never drunk wine. He also gave her food to eat, which made Letitia happy because she tasted the pudding served in the food hall. "Their pudding taste good," Letitia says while eating the pudding and attempting to feed Arther, causing the twins to look at each other, waiting for Arther's action.

Arther was surprised by what Letitia did, but eventually smiled and took the food from the spoon she was holding. Cashia was amazed by what she saw because she knows Arther dislikes that type of stuff, which means Arther is really inlove with Letitia!

The four of them continue to eat and discuss business matters, as most people, particularly well-known people in Rasleton Forest, have businesses outside of their world that make them a lot of money. Also, they have races that are now living in the human world, but the majority of them remain in the Forest for protection. Letitia simply continues to listen to them while observing other people who have their own circles. The scene she was looking for was similar to an event that her family attended on a regular basis; she may not have attended it personally, but she had seen it in videos.

Moments later, King Rogue appeared at Letitia's side, causing the three to be wary and look at him. "What is your business with us, King Rogue Paxtro?" Alpha Arther asks as he steps forward, concealing Letitia behind his back.

"I am not here to fight with you or to cause a fight in this event that my daughter has organized for me; I just want to see the lady for myself and talk to her. Is it a crime to talk to someone, Alpha Arther?" King Rogue Paxtro asks, smirking at Arther's eyes.

Letitia taps Arther on the shoulder, causing him to look at Letitia, who is smiling at him, before turning her face to look at King Rogue Paxtro. "What do you want to talk about with me, My King?" she asks, which surprises him given how formal and polite Letitia was.

"I just want to know you more because humans do not have the right to leave the forest, but they gave you an exception. How confusing isn't it? What could be the reason they gave you an exemption?" The King Rogue speaks, causing Letitia to think about it as well. Alpha Arther simply shut his mouth and remained as calm as possible, despite the fact that he knew King Rogue Paxtro had something in mind.

"I have no bad intentions in saying this, madam Letitia," he added, drinking the wine he was holding. "Maybe it is because you are the woman in prophecy."

Arther growled and glared at the King Rogue, drawing everyone's attention to them and causing the King Rogue to take a step back. "Say something bad to her, and you will regret it," Arther says, but someone claps his hands, drawing their attention to him. It was Alpha Matrix.

"My my, Alpha Arther is angry again. Why are you growling in front of the King Rogue and the Queen's father? Isn't it impolite to do that in the Banquet?" Alpha Matrix asks while smirkinh and the people begin to murmur while looking at them.

On the other hand, Queen Luna Tina was sitting on her throne, watching and enjoying the scene while smirking. "Now, what are you gonna do, Alpha Arther? Your reputation in Rasleton Forest will now go down. Can't wait to see you begging, this is just the beginning."
