It’s been thirty minutes since Katherine had left.

Bored and tired, Lilith sat down with a slouch on the couch.

She helped Katherine bake some cupcakes for the pups after breakfast. It was fun but it was a lot of work.

Katherine gave her two cupcakes, one for Blaze and one for her. But, Lilith decided to have hers after dinner, together with Blaze.

With a jerk, Lilith held the jade pendant in her hand when it wobbled and glowed. That was unexpected. It scared the crap out of her.

‘Lilith, can you hear me?’ Patricia’s voice came through in her mind.

‘Patricia. Yes, I can hear you.’ Lilith replied.

‘How are you? I can feel you’ve got a lot on your mind.’

‘I’m fine. I’ve just thinking about something.’

‘Thinking about what?’ Patricia questioned, sounding genuinely curious.

‘I know you can foresee the future. I want to know. When will that war happen?’ Lilith held her breath as she waited for Patricia’s response.

‘I can foresee the nature’s mystery but every time, it just comes

Lilith felt paralyzed with fear, excitement and anxiety as she studied her hand. Her fingernails had elongated into claws. Were those really claws? Before they could both get over the fact that Lilith’s fingernails had turned into claws, the wounds on Lilith’s palms closed on their own. Right after, the claws receded back into her fingernails. Blaze wrapped an arm around Lilith’s waist comfortingly. He felt the need to hold onto his mate. He feared what this meant. Could it be a good thing or a bad thing? “W-What just happened?” Lilith questioned, her voice trembling. “How do you feel? Is it your wolf?” Blaze turned her around until she was facing him. He braced himself for her answer. He hoped that it wouldn’t be a bad thing. After all, she already got her enhanced senses back. The only feasible thing that could possibly happen after that was for her wolf to be revived. But, will it be as easy as he was thinking? “I can’t feel my wolf.” Lilith replied, sounding low-spirited.

“Lilith, please, just give me a moment. I’ll tell you the truth.” Blaze held her arms to stop her at an arm distance. “What?” She growled out. Blaze gazed into her aroused golden eyes as his wolf tried to connect with hers but alas. Bash couldn’t feel her at all. Bash gave a small whine, 'It’s all up to you.'It would be hard to convince her when she was in this state of mind, Blaze thought as he gulped. “Raine just lied to you. It’s not true -” He started. “You’re lying to me. I saw the way you looked at Raine. You were angry that she told me, weren’t you?” Lilith intervened, sounding furious. She had no control over her emotions. Her anger was getting the best out of her. Frowning, she rubbed her forehead as she tried to rein in her anger. At the same time, she noticed that her fingernails were back to normal. Warm fingers traced down the side of her cheek and reclaimed her attention. “I wasn’t angry at her because of that. She just caught me off guard.” “Caught you off guard

“Are you sure you’re okay?” Blaze’s broad hand shifted to the base of her spine. Lilith closed her eyes and took a steadying breath before slowly re-focusing on Blaze’s face. “I’m okay.” He stepped up onto the first step so they were face to face before lowering his forehead to hers. “If you don’t feel okay, let me know. I will ask Raine to drop by and give you a check-up.” Lilith shook her head gently and pulled away just far enough so she could meet his stare. “I’m fine.” With a nod, Blaze took her hands and lifted her fingers to his lips for a quick, hard kiss. “If you say so.” Impulse to reassure him drove Lilith to lean in and take his mouth in a quick kiss which made Blaze crave for more. But, Lilith pulled back with a chuckle.Settling his hands on her hips, Blaze turned her around and urged her up the two steps again. Lilith let him propel her forward. Blaze rolled over in time to see a naked ass – a very fine naked ass – disappear into his bathroom for the third day in a row. She’d stayed in his bedroom since their movie date. He’d gone to the pack house to do his work every morning. He was home earlier too. He was so smitten by her that he couldn’t bear to stay away from her for long.He was totally gone on her and loving every minute he was spending with her. There was no denying that. He now got what his mated friends meant when they used to talk about being with their destined mates.Speaking of minute, he glanced at the clock and winced. It was a few minutes after five. In the morning, no one should have to get up this damn early.Groaning, he flipped onto his back and flung an arm over his eyes to block the bathroom light. The disturbed air brought with it the faint hint of an enticing scent from her side of the bed. From her side of the bed, he thought. He liked how that sounded. He rolled over again, burying his face in her

This morning, Lilith woke up feeling a cold space beside her. Blaze had already left for the pack house. Judging how cold the empty space beside her was, Lilith could tell that it’s been an hour or so since he had left. Unlike the previous nights, Blaze just held her as she snuggled against him last night. They just lay in each other's arms. While Lilith felt soothing with him holding her, Blaze felt his wolf instantly calm down as soon as he had Lilith in his arms. With a faint and weak smile tugging at her lips, she got up and prepared herself for the day. The day that they both have been waiting for, was here. It was dreadful to even think about it but there was no escaping it now. Lilith would be introduced to the pack by tonight or perhaps by this evening. Yet, she wasn't as mentally and physically prepared to face the pack and her former Alpha. The same Alpha who banished her from the pack months ago and the same Alpha whose son dared defy him by keeping her here. She feared

Lilith's stomach launched itself into her throat as if it had been emergency ejected when the vampire's head turned towards the house. She swiftly spun around to hide from view. She gasped when her back ended up hitting the wall beside the window. The cold surface pressing against her back made it hard for her to think. She felt cold yet hot. She was afraid. She couldn’t avoid from stressing out when a vampire was watching the house. Anxiety made it much harder for her to articulate her thoughts. She started pacing around and gazed up at the clock to find that it was fifteen minutes past ten. If the vampires reached the pack at this time, they must have been scouting the pack borders from outside the territory since last night. How did no one notice them or sense them by the pack borders? How did they even manage to cross the pack borders? As long as Lilith could remember, those places were heavily guarded from each side. The pack always had more warriors guarding the south side

Blaze zipped by so fast; he was in front of the asshole that dared cross his path within seconds. His fingernails had elongated into thinner and sharper claws than before. It didn't help that Blaze could recognize this person with just his voice. It was someone whom he never wanted to meet ever again. He was someone whom Blaze despised. Meeting his eyes with a firm gaze, Blaze growled out, "You made a mistake coming back here, Jayden." Jayden's eyebrows shot up. Perhaps he was surprised or was just pretending to be surprised after hearing Blaze's warning. "So what do you say?" Jayden asked, completely disregarding Blaze's warning. "What do you want me to tell him? Take her or kill her?" Blaze clenched his teeth together, seething with silent anger. Jayden's eyes trailed down, stopping briefly to take a look at Blaze's claws before glancing back up at his fangs which were more than ready to bite Jayden's head off his neck. Instead of feeling the fear which one would most probably

"How dare you attack your Alpha?" Blaze forced out through gritted teeth. Out of breath, his face had turned red in anger as he struggled to breathe. A self-satisfied smirk slowly took shape on Aria's face. "I don't have anything against you. I hate that bitch. Your only mistake is that you're her mate." Aria shrugged nonchalantly as if she wasn't at all terrified of the consequences for attempting to kill her Alpha. "Leave me or -""Or?" Aria raised an inquiring eyebrow at him. "Or it won't be good for you." Blaze growled out. His eyes flashed electrifying blue. He clenched his fingers tightly. His nails grew back into claws and his canines extended. No matter how much he tried to hold his wolf in, Bash kept pounding on the walls caging him to the back of his mind. He was more than ready to snap the neck of this bitch but Blaze didn't want her to die this easily. She should be punished for even thinking about killing both her Alpha and her future Luna. She needed him. Now. No waiting. “Blaze,” she moaned his name, urging him to hurry up. The broad head of his dick pushed at her, and she hooked her other leg around his waist, opening herself to him more fully. With steady pressure, Blaze worked his way in, his eyes never leaving hers. “I love you, Lilith.” “I love you, too, Blaze.” He began to move, slowly at first, then more aggressively, until she was forced to grip the edge of the mattress. The bed squeaked, an erotic chorus to their small sounds and whispered words of love. Reaching between them, he found her clit and strummed the little bundle of nerves, gently at first and then faster. Her orgasm rolled over her and dragged her under. She couldn’t see, couldn’t breathe, couldn’t hear and didn’t care. Wave after wave of pleasure rocked her as he refused to let up on the pressure on her clit until a second orgasm took her and she cried out. He followed her over the edge, burying his face in her neck to muffle his shout.

His mother walked inside the awfully smelling cell and looked straight at Aria who was shackled to the wall.If there wasn’t any remnants of his mate’s scent, Blaze would have puked at the disgusting smell.“Got anything else out of her?” Ignoring the odor, Blaze asked Eric, the warrior who had been assigned for the questioning.“All she kept saying is that she would kill our Luna. She even dared threaten the Luna herself while she was interrogating her.” Eric replied.A chill embraced Blaze as he heard those words.“How come no one was aware of her planning an attack and her escape? How did she even get a weapon when she was imprisoned, and the poison?” Blaze questioned.Eric shrugged, “We suspect it must be someone from her family unless one of our warriors is a traitor.”“None of our warriors know Aria. “Looking for me?” Lilith jumped, turning so fast her hair flew around and over her shoulder. Ruzek grinned at her. Lilith smiled back at him. “Hey,” she waved. Ruzek mimicked, finding it adorable. “About the work you said we had to do…” He trailed off when he noticed Lilith glancing around them with searching eyes. Lilith suddenly remembered what she had to do. Find Blaze but where was he? “Yeah,” she looked around, “what about it?” “I won’t be free during the day.” Ruzek said with a frown as he tried to discern what Lilith was searching for or whom she was actually searching for. It must be Blaze, Ruzek thought as he caught the Alpha talking to his Beta. Lilith turned to look at Ruzek, but his eyes were fixed at something behind her. Before she could turn to look, she felt Blaze. She felt his presence, her skin prickling with an invisible force of attraction towards him. She was sure the omegas would make great efforts to accomplish deserving respect for themselves.Lilith trained them for two consecutive nights. A few days had gone by. Lilith got three more missions which she accomplished in no time. The training was going well. Ruzek, Jenny and the nine other men were ready for the battle which the former Alpha prepared for them. The omegas needed to be trained some more. They got a lot better in self-defense but their fighting techniques still needed to be improved. There were only two days left though before the week would be over. Worried and tensed, Lilith glanced around the great valley and went through all the specific trainings she gave them. She wondered where she went wrong. Deep in thought, she didn't notice Ruzek approaching her until he spoke. "What are you doing here all alone?" He looked up at the sky. The sun had dipped below the horizon, the last gasp of beauty before the death of the day. Lilith took a moment to look at the setting sun before saying with a shrug, "I've just been thinking about a few things." "Like what?" Ruzek asked out of curiosity. "I’m worried I

“It’s great to see you all here. We’ll start by running twenty-five times around the valley but in your human forms.” Lilith began by pointing at the running trail that surrounded the boundaries of the great valley. “I’ll see who can run all twenty-five rounds. The ones who give up after a few rounds can come stand in this spot. The ones, who complete it all, will do the next task.” Lilith explained further. She thought there would some complaints from the omegas but they were all ready. They seemed determined to complete all twenty-five rounds. Ruzek, the leader of the rogues and the nine other rogues were the first to head over to the starting point. The omegas soon followed them. “Come on!” When Lilith blew the whistle, they started running at a slow pace. Lilith looked at them with satisfaction. The great valley was the largest training ground in the Blood Moon pack. It stretched away ahead of where Lilith was standing for miles. The continuous line of the trail was lost amo

The rogue's eyes flashed with rage. It seemed like a wild beast was standing in front of Lilith and not someone who was once an Alpha. He clenched his right hand and swung his arm at Lilith, but she blocked his punch at the last second. Lilith wasn't there to kid around. She had to complete her task and be done with it by this evening. He narrowed his eyes down at her, pissed that he wasn't able to hit her. "Surprised?" She raised an inquiring eyebrow at him while her lips tugged up into a smirk. He pulled his fisted hand free before sneering at her with anger lacing his tone, "You got lucky, you bitch!"In a snap of moment, Lilith’s power leashed at the leader and she grabbed him by the neck before slamming him into a wall. "What did you say?" How dare you call me a bitch?" Lilith's jaw contorted with anger as she seized him by the throat, stifling his screams and pleas. His expression darkened, and the color drained from his face as he realized that he made a grave mistake cha
