Unexpected Twist

Hazel got in class just right in time. To her surrise, their professor introduced a new student ro their department and it was Alex. Alex was the guy she met and interested at her at their party.

She sat next to him in her usual spot on the floor. She was in the back row of the class with all the other students, so that was where she’d be when he arrived. She could get a good look at him from here too.

Alex had dark hair pulled into a ponytail, brown eyes and a small scar that ran along his cheekbone. He was tall, well muscled and handsome in that classic way people who looked like they worked out were. Hazel liked to imagine he kept fit by working out.
