***Xavier's POV***

I waited patiently for my Luna, but she was taking so long. I thought she said she was only going to ease herself. I wonder if she had been caught up on something else.

I decided to go searching for her, but just as I was about to head out of the hall, I was met with Kyle. This gave me a shock because I was never expecting to see him.

“Kyle? What are you doing here?”

“I'm here because of Caspian. Since your Luna coronation is talked about everywhere, there's no way I wouldn't have attended. I mean, we are talking about my daughter here.”

“Excuse me? Do you have a daughter?”

“What? Of course, I have a daughter, Melissa.”

“Are you kidding me right now, Kyle. When was the last time you laid eyes on the so-called daughter you claim to have?”

“It's been such a long time since I saw her, but she's still my daughter, either way.”
