***Melissa's POV***

“Hell no! Count me out. You don't expect me to get involved in a war that will possibly not come to an end. Count me out if this. I refuse to be part and parcel of this,” one of the Alpha's said in anger. From the look of things, none of them is willing to help, Xavier. It is just as Denver had anticipated.

“I know the majority of us fear vampires. But we can't watch our enemies kill one of our own while we stand aside and look.”

“Denver, don't get over your head. You talk as if you don't understand a thing of what this means. You know for a fact that our packs, compared to Xavier's pack, are terribly not a match. Are you trying to send me to my death?”
