A Fight To The Finish

***Melissa's POV***

Ever since Xavier left for the pack, I've been apprehensive. Though we talk through the mind every often, but it still wasn't enough. I could see the fight in my vision. Though in all of my visions, Xavier always won the battle.

That was the only reason why I was so worried, else I'm not sure if I ever would have been able to take it at all.

I walked around the house thinking about what Xavier might be going through when Arnold suddenly showed up in front of me.

“I could tell you're still worried about Xavier.”

“Yes, I am. The battle has taken so long. It's already been a week since he left. So you think he'll be okay?”

“I saw through your visions, and I noticed that he won the battle.”

I froze the instant he said the words.

“What? You saw through my visions?”

“You look surprised. I'm your mate, and that is the only reason I was able to see your visions.”

“That's strange. But you never saw through my visions before now. How come you could see through it now?”
