The fight

Scott’s Pov:

A knock on my door made me glance up from my cell phone. It must be Liam, because he was the only one I was expecting.

“Come in.” I thundered from where I was sitting.

The door opened and revealed Liam at the doorway. He strolled in with a grin on his face.

“Hey buddy,” he said, stretching out his hands to shake me, but I was in no mood for the brotherly welcome.

Liam watched me for a minute, then he asked, "What's going on, bro? Why do you have a long face? What is the matter?"

In my head, I was trying to think of the best way to approach him with the topic; I didn't want to rid him of whatever happy mood he was in.

Liam looked around my office; it was still messy, and I hadn't called anyone to clean up the mess. “Did the witches attack again? Why is your office in this state?” He asked again, and he found a chair lying on the floor, so he picked it up and sat close to me.

“Talk to me, bro, why are you unusually quiet?” He tapped me on my leg.
