Cassandra's POV
The contract in my hands felt heavier than it should have. I stared at the words on the page, but the words didn't make any more sense to me. Across the desk, the professor leaned back in his chair, his sharp gray eyes fixed on me. “Sign it,” he growled. I lifted my gaze in surprise, meeting his. “Excuse me?” “You heard me,” he said smoothly. “Sign it. I won't repeat myself, Cassandra!” God, it was on with the way he said my name again! His arrogance was infuriating. I couldn't allow myself to be swayed by this arrogant hulk of a man, regardless of the fact that he had done things to my body on that fateful night two weeks ago. Things that still played over and over in my head, no matter how many times I pushed it aside. With a burst of indignation, I slammed the contract onto the desk, the sound echoing in the small office. “Oh, you’ve got some nerve, professor!" I roared. “Do I look like I'm someone you can coerce with threats and a loud voice? I’m not signing anything, especially not something handed to me like this.” I turned on my heel, ready to leave and forget this bizarre encounter, but before I could reach the door, his voice stopped me. “If you walk away, you're playing with fire." I froze, the hair on the back of my neck standing up. I heard the creak of wood as he stood up and moved from behind the desk. His presence suddenly felt much closer. I could feel the heat of him behind me, and when I turned, he was standing barely a foot away. Those gray eyes I had come so close to falling in love with, now blazed with anger. “You think you can walk away from this?” he snarled. “You have no idea what you’ve started. You have no idea what that night together is going to cost us.” “What I’ve started?” I shot back, laughing bitterly. “You’re insane. This—” I gestured at the contract still on his desk, “—is ridiculous.” His expression darkened. “You are the first woman I’ve ever been with,” he growled, his voice dropping to an almost reverent whisper. “And you think you can just run away from that? From me?” His words caught me off guard, and I couldn’t stop the laughter that bubbled out of me. “What is this, some kind of soap opera? You can’t be serious.” His eyes narrowed at my mockery, but I was too angry and confused to care. The professor stared at me for long seconds. Then he stepped closer. He was so tall that I was forced to tilt my head to look into his eyes. “You think this is a joke?” His voice was cold now, stripped of any charm. I folded my arms, glaring at him. “What are you going to do, force me to sign? You can’t make me.” “Oh, Cassandra,” he murmured, his lips curling into a cruel smile. “You have no idea how easy it would be, what I could do to you. What do you think your school's board of directors would say if they heard you’d been seducing professors to improve your grades? You, a scholarship student? I heard you're graduating this year." He shook his head. "You might have to kiss your graduation goodbye." His words hit me like a slap. My mouth opened to retort, but no sound came out. “You wouldn’t....” I finally managed, my voice shaking. "You wouldn't do that." “Wouldn’t I?” His calm tone made the threat all the more menacing. My chest tightened. The last thing I needed was a scandal. After losing my parents, I’d worked too hard to build a life, juggling two part-time jobs and endless nights of studying just to keep afloat. A rumor like that could ruin everything. “You’re a psychopath!” I hissed. "A fucking lunatic." “Careful,” he warned with an annoying, wolfish grin. “Think very carefully about what you say next.” His cold words sent shivers down my spine. He wasn’t bluffing; I could feel it in the way he looked at me, like he was calculating every move I might make. I stood there, trembling with fury. My eyes darted back to the contract on the desk. Three months. At least, I'd been able to make out that much. Three months of being his mistress. The thought made my stomach churn, but what choice did I have? If he followed through on his threat, everything I’d worked for would be destroyed. With trembling hands, I picked up the pen and scrawled my name on the dotted line. “There,” I said, throwing the pen down. “Are you happy now?” For a moment, he didn’t respond, just stared at me with that same unsettling smirk. Then, he reached for the paper, inspecting it carefully. “Good.” he replied curtly, folding the contract neatly and placing it in a drawer. I turned to leave, but his voice stopped me again. “Not so fast, Cassandra.” I clenched my jaw, spinning around. “What now?” “As part of the agreement, you’ll be moving in with me,” he said matter-of-factly. "You have to prepare for that." “What?!” I nearly shouted. “That wasn’t in the contract!” He raised an eyebrow. “It’s implied. You'll be my mistress after all. It makes no sense to live so far away from me.” I laughed bitterly, shaking my head. “You’re delusional if you think I’m going along with that.” I turned to stalk away. But before I could make it to the door, two men appeared, seemingly out of nowhere. They blocked my path, their expressions blank but their intentions clear. Their hands reached out and grabbed my arms. “Let go of me!” I yelled, struggling under their grip. "Fucking gorillas! Let me go!" "You agreed to the terms, Cassandra." Professor Marcus stepped forward. "There’s no turning back now.” I struggled against their grip, my mind scrambling for an escape. “This is insane! You can’t just—” “Enough!” he snapped. “Unless you want me to follow through on my earlier threat, I suggest you cooperate.” I stopped struggling, my body going limp as despair set in. The men released me once I stopped fighting, and Professor Marcus gestured for me to follow. Numbly, I walked behind him. As we stepped outside, the sun felt too bright, too harsh against the dark pit forming in my stomach. This was more than a mistake—it was a trap, and I’d walked right into it.Marcus' POVI sat under the full moon, the silver light pouring into my study through the wide-open balcony doors. The faint chill of the night air brushed against my skin as I swirled the amber liquid in my glass. A malicious smile curled on my lips as I tipped the glass, letting the burn of the liquor seep into my veins. This wasn’t the life I was destined for. No, I was meant to be great—a king among wolves, ruling with strength and honor. Instead, here I was, exiled and cursed, all because of a betrayal so deep it still made my blood boil with anger.I ran my fingers through my hair, staring at the moon as if it could offer some answers. Why me? The memory of that night—the night my life crumbled—was like a foggy dream, slipping through my grasp every time I tried to piece it together. They had accused me of killing a descendant of the Moon Goddess herself. Me, a loyal Alpha who had only ever sought to protect his pack. But the evidence, or rather the lack of it, worked against me
Cassandra's POVLast weekend was one I wished I could erase completely. If only I’d known what kind of man Marcus was before signing that ridiculous contract. A professor, sure, but also something darker and more twisted—a psychopath, no doubt about it.The thought of him made my mouth go bitter with bile. I hated how his presence seemed to take over my life, how he controlled my every move. I hugged my books closer to my chest as I walked into the campus, trying to shake off the memories, but they clawed their way back in.Three weeks ago, everything had spiraled out of control. I’d barely spoken to Nate since. Not that I hadn’t tried; Marcus had taken my phone, cutting me off completely from the outside world. He didn't even let me reach out to Lauren! It was weird, but I hadn’t dared to push back. His threats were always filled with a sinister calmness that made me wary of him.I hurried toward my class, my mind drifting to Nate’s calls—calls I couldn’t answer, even if Professor Ma
Alpha Marcus Pov..The iron gate creaked open, groaning like it had secrets to spill. I stepped inside, humming a soft, offbeat tune that echoed in the narrow corridor. The air felt damp with years upon years of decay. The space carried a chill, the kind that seeped into your bones and left a lasting imprint. With a snap of my fingers, the lights flickered to life, revealing the room in all its grim glory. Chains hung from the walls like grotesque ornaments, and in the center sat Nate, bound to a chair, blood trailing down his face and staining his shirt. He looked up with wide eyes that found mine, and gasped. The sound was delicious."Professor Marcus?" he stammered with a voice that quivered like a reed in the wind. "What is this? What... what do you want?"I allowed myself a smile. "Ah, Nate. Always the one with questions." My eyes moved to the guard standing beside him. The man bowed slightly, awaiting my command.Nate started to breathe faster. He struggled against the ropes, ma
Cassandra’s POVLost in my thoughts, I stood in the shower, letting the cold water blast against my skin. This wasn't the life I envisioned—I felt suffocated, trapped in a contract with a psychopath. Just the thought of Professor Marcus’s twisted actions sent a shiver down my spine.“Who should I blame for my foolishness?” I said aloud, realizing just how long I had been lost in my reflections. Suddenly, a cold draft wiped through the bathroom, sending a jolt through my body.Oh Goodness!I quickly reached for my towel, only to find it was missing. Determined not to catch a cold, I rushed out of the bathroom to dry off. To my shock, I found Professor Marcus sitting in the corner of the room, his gaze locked onto me with a predatory intensity.Darting my gaze from him to the tower lying on the bed, I thought to myself. “If I move faster, I could get it".I quickly swerved towards the bed to grab my tower, but it seemed luck wasn't on my side; I felt His grip on my waist as he forcefull
Cassandra POVIt’s been a week since I last heard from Nate, and I’m starting to feel concerned. I’ve tried reaching out multiple times, but his phone is turned off. “Is he still angry with me?” I ask myself, unease settling in my stomach. I know something isn’t right, but I can’t quite pinpoint what it is.“Hey, Cassie!” Lauren whispered, drawing my attention. I managed a small smile for her and then turned back to the ongoing lecture. I couldn’t hold back any longer; I needed to open up to Lauren and share what was going on. Maybe she could help me.“Lauren! I need to talk to you about something important,” I mumbled, struggling to keep my composure. It was obvious that Professor Marcus was trying his best to drive me crazy, but I wasn’t going to let that happen.A few minutes passed, but I still couldn’t formulate my thoughts into words. I gazed blankly at Lauren, recalling the intimate moment I had shared with Marcus last night.Oh my God! “Are you okay, Cassie?” Lauren asked, a
Marcus POV… I sat there, poised, waiting for Cassandra. It was clear she had forgotten our dinner plans, but I wasn’t going to let that slide. The realization that I had fallen head over heels for her struck me with a mix of frustration and resolve. “This wasn't the plan,” I thought, allowing a smirk to cross my face as I let out a short, sharp laugh of disbelief. “She pulled a fast one on me,” I muttered, my grip tightening around the glass of wine in my hand. If this was the cross I had to bear due to my carelessness, then I would accept it without hesitation. Marking Cassandra on the very night we made out was the smartest decision I could have made. She was my key to freedom, and I would crush anyone who dared to glance in her direction. “So sorry I’m late,” Cassandra's voice rang out, pulling me from my thoughts. Her intoxicating scent enveloped me, as I stood up from my seat. I approached her, and she instinctively took a few steps back to maintain her distance, but
Cassandra POV "It happened again," I said firmly as I marched into the room. "This ends now!" I declared, slamming my phone against the floor, A surge of irritation cussed through me I refuse to feel powerless any longer. “Why do I let this happen?” I thought, frustration wells up as tears threatened to spill. But then, a resolve ignited within me. I quickly headed to the wardrobe to gather my things. I stepped into my room with a clear purpose—nothing was going to hold me back. I swiftly scanned through the wardrobe and picked up a blue dress, folding it neatly. With my bag in hand, I opened the door and stepped out. As I navigated the hallway, it was clear that no one observed my presence. I made my way toward the mansion’s foyer, instantly fueled by my determination to escape this place. The obsession and endless desire that Professor Marcus had for my body were driving me to the edge. Every attempt to protect myself only drew me deeper into his web of lust. “Miss Cass
Cassandra POV The cold breeze slapped my face across Marcus' shoulder. He dragged me like a criminal! Maybe I am, but I was not ready for the consequences afterward.I groaned in pain with the force he held me with and little did I know my destiny awaited me at the door. The door was smashed open and he jerked me like a feather to his bed.I couldn't believe my eyes with what I saw on his bed, it gave me goosebumps instantly. The bed was decorated with different terrible sex toys.“Is he planning to dig a hole inside me?” I screamed loudly in my head and swallowed hard my saliva. Marcus' aura filled the room and my coldness vanished the moment he drew a chain out from the bedspread.I find it strange to understand what’s going on in his head. Fear gripped me from the thought of being chained down and ripped apart. I remained lifeless on his bed like a surrendered prisoner with no hope with the way he smirked. His Wild cherry scent drifted across my nose as he leaned in to
Cassandra’s POVI sat alone in my room, looking around, it felt like I was in an ancient movie, like a dream. The moon was exceptionally bright, I was starting to adapt to the air but was quite unsure about the aesthetics of the room. I would have to move some things if this would be my room in the long run.Letting out a relieved breath, I fell on the bed with an odd sense of peace, like I belonged here, like this place, despite its dangers, was home. It was strange, I should be terrified. I was separated from Marcus, my only ally in a kingdom of people with strong jaws and claws and yet something about this place pulled at me, whispering to me in a way I couldn’t understand. While I was still basking in the peace I felt, a sharp knock at the door pulled me from my thoughts. I turned, frowning as the door creaked open. A young maid stepped inside, her head bowed respectfully. A tray with a single goblet of wine was in her hands, making me wonder what she was up to as I eye
Bernard’s POVMy mind was a storm of rage, anxiety, and uneasiness as I paced back and forth in my chamber, thinking of my next step, thinking of what I did wrong, thinking of what could be going through the elder's mind, waiting for Lilith to be brought before me.I gulped another goblet of wine as I replayed the scene from the courtroom. My fist banged on the table with my nails digging deep into my palms.Marcus. That bastard. How dare he? What nerve does he have to come before me and ruin everything I have worked for these past years? How dare he challenge me? He can't, and I wouldn't allow him to ruin the world I have built. The thought of losing everything began to show a scene of how I could be banished, how I could have spit and stones thrown at me. I swept a goblet off the table in frustration, shattering it against the wall and watching the wine splash like blood, marking the walls to drown out the infuriating thoughts that were clouding my mind.Just then, the door burs
Marcus' POV“I suggest you go back to where you are coming from, brother; you are not welcome here,” Bernard said, still trying to recover from the chokehold.“That was a smart suggestion, but No, I am here to take back my rightful place in this kingdom, and I didn't come empty-handed,” I smirked, playing joyfully on my lips. “I have evidence that you, the Almighty and most worthy Alpha, killed Beta Jacob.” The courtroom was silent for a second, and then laughter came from all sides of the room except Bernard's; his face was stunned, but he quickly masked it, and it was just a cold, emotionless face.As seconds passed, the laughter became louder, with insulting comments here and there cutting through my pride.I wanted to tear off their jaws so badly and hang them outside to remind people who I am.I was the most feared, respected werewolf in this kingdom. Every word that left my mouth had been law, but now they seem to have forgotten, and I will make sure to remind them soon enough
Marcus’ POVAt the moment I wouldn't call it my home until I clear out all the pests and cobwebs hanging around. The doors to the mansion opened and we stepped in, Cassandra's hand locked in tighter into my arms.“You didn't stay here alone did you?” She said in whispers“They can hear you if they want to, even when you whisper, so anything that comes out of your mouth should be something you don't mind other people hearing.”“Okay, or I could use it to my advantage too.”“Perfect, I knew my girl was the smart one.”“So, who are we here to see?”“I am here to announce my arrival. The mansion houses the throne, and the throne is where I belong.” I explained with my confidence increasing with each word and step.I was expecting the guards to stop me, but they didn't seem well-fed for the job, so they could only leave their jaw hanging as they watched me make my way to the courtroom. We were just five steps away from the courtroom when two guards appeared in front of us,Their bodies wer
Marcus’ POVI stared at her beautiful innocent face once again. I wouldn't deny the part of me that was glad she was coming, but the other part that was just too scared of what might happen to her was more overwhelming. My gaze turned back to the road, the building and bushes we were leaving behind; the closer we got to the border, the more unstable I tended to be. It felt like there was a new opening somewhere in my heart tearing itself apart. This was one of the things I was more scared about: how unstable I could become when I set it into my world again. I had left it all behind for centuries, thinking I had healed, but I merely covered it up with new memories, and now the memories are shedding off.“How long will this journey be?” Cassandra's excited tone cut off my train of thought.“We will get there soon, you won't even know it before we get there.”“Really, what is it like there? Is it just like the human world but with a little more…..”“Barbarism.” I helped her with the wor
Cassandra’s POVI was still wrapped in the blanket, overpowered by Marcus's sexy, strong smell lingering on the fabric.God, it was quite a night, a night I don't mind having continuously. The smile on my face is priceless, I am sure I had the smile on even when I was sleeping. And he thought I would let him go that easily, considering how good he makes me feel. I stretched lazily, hoping to land on his chest, until my fingers reached out and met nothing but empty space. My eyes snapped open and I found him in front of his dresser buttoning up his shirt with so much seriousness.“Where are you going this early?” I asked with a sweet sly smile and a curved hips.“I need to leave early, my love.” He answered, avoiding my gaze.“Yeah, leave to where ?” My tone started to become serious.“ Well I told you I needed to take back what is rightfully mine, so yeah I am going back to the wolf world.” “What?” I scoffed as I climbed out of bed, “We just made up, we just got back together, we s
Baby, You ruined me.Cassandra POV I remained lifeless in his arms like a surrendered prisoner with no hope. Marcus slammed my body in bed and it felt like a lotus tossed in the sea. I became instantly cold and with no time Marcus howled over me like a shield, he captured my lips hastily leaning his whole frame on me. I know I was in for it and there was no going back. He smacked me like he was very hungry or so I had starved him of food for months despite all we just did.I couldn't adjust myself to his pace so I allowed him to take me all in. He Raised my jaw bringing my face closer to his, as our noses rubbed each other leaving no space between us. The kisses ignited the fire between my legs and I began to drop for him mercilessly He sensed it and he moved his hand in between my legs and smudged it like a toy. He played it velvety, It was early for me to get crazy but I was already. I opened my mouth to gasp for air but he deepened his tongue inside my mouth and licked it.
My Soul mate Cassandra's povIt was getting very cold here. My body ached and I felt a swollen craving for a massage. The thought Of how Marcus had fuck me in the bathtub swindled in my head and I blushed sheepishly I feel like I am ready to be his woman and his declaration earlier; “Do you know how much I need this?” makes me feel Lucky and willing to go on with him.I curled up like a pup waiting to be fed but little did I know my destiny awaited me at the door The door was smashed open that moment and I jerked up like a feather from the bed.I couldn't believe my eyes so I covered my face to be sure what I was seeing was not true. Marcus just returned gorgeously naked with bottled oils in his hand. His aura filled the room and my coldness vanished as he moved closer. “Oh my goodness! How does he know I needed this?!” I screamed in my head He smells like a wild cherry and I can only imagine resting my head on his gracious shoulder and eating him up before the
Telios ( perfect) NightMarcus POVWe just had a nice meal and every part of me can't wait to feed on Cassandra The sound of the rushing water made me realized have been starved for a while and I couldn't hold on any longer The only thing left on my mind was Bianca's nakedness. I could not stop longing for her even though she was at no distance from meMy craving for her amplified. I can't just keep my mind off her in my bathroom for a second. I remembered the way she used to scream and clench herself to my body, it gave me undeniable erections but then for a minute I wanted to doubt her innocence the last time I clenched my fist as I found my way to the bathroom, she's probably expecting me since she was taking longer than expected I want nothing more than to get hold of Cassandra's body and guess she wants the same. I couldn't resist the urge to get down with her like right now I would never trade a chance to have her anytime I want.I proceeded to the bathroom putting of
