Shaking, the omega begs at my feet, her head touching the floor, her arms outstretched before her. "Please, Luna, I've been trying. Forgive me."

I hate the sound of her sniveling but I fight the urge to kick her because she still hasn't given me the answers I need. She's been following Apple for over a week, and she hasn't come back with any juicy nuggets of information.

"She hasn't spent any time at the office. I tried hiding out on the executive floor but she never comes in. It's almost as if she never leaves the pack house."

"Sit up," I demand, snarling down at her. When she raises her face her makeup is dripping down her face, marring her appearance. I can tell she was once a beauty, but hard living and unfortunate luck are taking it away from her, one stressful day at a time.

"Luna," she looks at my feet, unwilling to make eye contact. "Just give me another day, I can get what you need I..."

Grabbing her face roughly in my hands I squeeze her cheeks. "So far you've tol
