By his eighteenth birthday, I was convinced that Luca was the same soul as Kai, but I no longer spoke about it. I no longer spoke about my three lives since I found it upset the people around me and in time, I forgot a lot of the details.

They no longer mattered anymore in any case. The war that had raged for so long was long forgotten, and our people were one. We lived in peace and our pack was prospering. We had one important tradition that I never missed and that was watching the championships on television every year.
