Chapter 88 - Aiden

Running down the hallway out of Cayden’s home my sides are aching from laughing so much. I cannot believe we have just done that. Jackson is a bastard for even thinking of it, but damn, I am glad he did, I have not laughed so much in ages. Cayden’s face was a picture as he turned around as that water hit him.

Jackson grabbed my hand as we ran from the front door. “Quick we will head to my place.”

So I followed him as we ran across the landing, still laughing. “That was so funny.” I say breathlessly as we reach his front door.

“Cayden is out for blood. He just mindlinked.” Jackson tells me with a grin. “We got him good.”

“He will be planning revenge then?”

“Without a doubt. But we can always come back with better. Like I told you, the best team wins.” He winks at me as he goes to close the front door behind us. I look around his Alpha suite.
