Oma's POV.

I wasn't expecting the wave of tears that hit me the moment I was alone in my room. There was suddenly this large hole in my chest and the room felt like it was spinning around. The back of my throat burned with the unshed tears that I was yet to release. I knew I needed some air, I needed to talk to someone and I know just who. I grabbed the purple Cloak from where I hid it deep inside my wardrobe and snuck out of the house, I waited until I was in the darkness outside before I slipped it on and headed for Lucian's den, I just hoped that I would find him there since I had not informed him that I was coming and I knew that it's not safe to go to the club just yet, not after those pictures that Alpha Theon had shown us during the council meeting.

I drove to the tunnel that led to his underground base and went in. The tunnel was dark and cold but that didn't stop me, I switched to my wolf vision and kept walking straight ahead. I arrived in front of the large metal door, this

Mauris POV.The elders called for an emergency meeting, the very next day, right after their meeting with Oma the last time and their conclusion to discuss it if all investigations have been carried. I had left Yara fast asleep in the room, it was still too early to wake her and didn't want her involved in this or worried about Maggie, I could see that their friendship had gotten a lot stronger. As I hurried to my car, the more I became convinced that they must have found something incriminating for them to call for the meeting this fast that Kyle and I have been warned not to for any reason inform Oma about the meeting or bring her along, that could only mean one thing, this wasn't to accuse her it's to dish out her punishment.I drove up to the front of the headquarters building, stepped out and tossed my keys to the valet. I practically ran through the doors, almost tripping over in my haste, I was so eager and curious to know what was going on. Inside, I rushed to the elevator but

Yara's POV.Maggie left me in my room after we had seen Oma slip out of the house in the purple cloak, I sat on my bed contemplating whether to tell him or not. I was more than grateful when Kyle didn't come over when he saw us earlier, even more grateful when Maggie didn't pull us towards him, I wonder if Kyle knows about Oma too because what was he doing outside of her room just when she left the house in the robe.I made up my mind and headed to his chambers, I knew he would still be awake because it wasn't too late so I knocked softly on the door and waited for a reply but none came. I knocked again and waited, still nothing, I was about to knock for the time time when the door pulled inwards and a guard's face came into view. He looked me over distastefully, for a second I thought he wouldn't let me in but then, he stepped aside, holding the door wide open for me to step inside.I walked in to find him seated on his bed, a large brown envelope laid by his side, he was still dress

Oma's POV.Earlier on,The moment I left Lucian, I didn't go home straight. I headed to an old cabin at the outskirts of town. I had asked an old friend of mine to look into the Summerstones family, maybe anything would come up, he texted me a while back that he had come in contact with an old woman that used to work for the family as a nanny to their children. The fact that my father had not killed himself and that someone had taken his life intentionally bothered me, why would anyone want him dead? I knew he was a rebel and all but he was practically harmless, he just stuck to his apartment and didn't interact with anyone. Lucian's story that his death had been related to this mission of mine only makes me even more interested in finding out what is going on and who it is affecting.I knew that Lucian would not approve of me searching for her without him but I didn't have a choice, he felt I needed a break especially after my father's death but I knew I couldn't rest until I had fix

Yara's POV.I sat in my bedroom, patiently waiting for Mauris to return from work. It's been a few days since the night I took that i bought the pregnancy test strip. For while now, I've been feeling a bit sick so when I talked to Maggie about it and when she noticed my behaviour, my withdrawal from our usual outings and my inability to keep down food, she advised me to take a pregnancy test.At first, I thought it was impossible, how could I be pregnant, not like it was a bad idea but I just felt it was still not time for that, Kyle and Mauris were still not on talking terms, the house wasn't jovial as always, most of us just stuck to our room and minded our business, so this isn't the best environment to raise a baby.I started at the test strip, placed on a napkin on the center table and the two red lines very visible, I didn't know what to feel or what to say, it was amazing to feel or know that a baby is growing inside of me but I just couldn't quite wrap my head around the bad f

Mauris POV.After Yara told me that she's pregnant, I couldn't believe my ears. I couldn't believe that I have a baby coming into my life very soon. I watched her blossom into a very comfortable and loving woman expecting a child to come into her life. She would play in the garden with Maggie, clutching her belly and telling tales about her childhood while I watched them from the balcony, they days had moved by softly. The tension between me and Kyle was no longer as tough as always. On one of those nights I was on the balcony watching Yara and Maggie when my father walked up to me, he placed a hand across my shoulder and relaxed his other hand on the railings. "So... She finally dug her claws deep enough that you can't even let go." He hissed. I shrugged off his hand."I am really not in the mood Dad." I tried to move away from him but he didn't move away from me instead he kept moving closer with an amused smile on his face."I am not here to fight son, I am here to congratulate you

Yara's POV.The feeling that someone is trying to reach out to me has been keeping me awake at nights and making it difficult for me to focus on the baby. Now that we had just found out that Oma is missing, I thought it would be best to ask Kyle about it regardless of whatever disagreement is between him and Mauris. I led Maggie and Mauris to his room, I knocked on the door gently but no reply came. A few seconds later, a maid appeared at the door way and told us that Kyle should be in his study."Maybe this isn't such a good idea." Maggie said as we headed towards the study. "I mean, if he is in the library then that's a good sign that he doesn't want to be disturbed.""Do you really this we should be doing this?" Mauris said in support of Maggie. I understood the tensed air that hung in between them and Kyle but it would be childish of us if we let the little quarrels between us to get in the way of caring about each other. Before I arrived here, they were really close friends and I

Kyle's POV.Yara said she felt some sort of connection to Oma, I really wanted to believe her and even folllow her lead to where Oma would be right now but Mauris had suggested that we focus on getting Lucian out of his father's grasp before we could find Oma. I knew he is right and the whole house agreed with him, before we would get back, Alpha Theon would have killed Lucian."The council would convene tomorrow to discuss about Lucian so this would be your opportunity to seek their assistance about Oma but I have to warn you Alpha Theon would not take lightly to that and might even seek the death penalty for Lucian." Mauris said as he sat opposite me in the study. Maggie and Yara sat on the cushions, watching and listening to our conversation."What do we do? Do we tell them that Oma is missing and we suspect that your father has something to do with it?" Maggie asked, looking around nervously. I understood the reason she couldn't was one edge about the whole situation, our parents

I stayed there for what felt like days, wondering what they would do to me and hoping that someone would try and talk to me but no one did. They wrapped a blindfold around my eyes, made sure that I never got out of the chair and seldom brought me water or alcohol, anything to quench the thirst. I couldn't explain what I felt but I could feel that someone was trying to talk to me, I didn't know how to control it or what to say, all I know is at one time, I felt someone trying to pass a message through to me, the voice wasn't so clear and anytime I tried to talk back or try to at least show a sign in response, the voice disappears and I feel the link between our minds severed.I tried what I could to get a message back across to whoever was trying to get to me but I just couldn'
