Sabrina woke up that day feeling a bit different. Even when her eyes were closed, she could tell her environment was slightly darker than usual. Slowly, she opened her eyes and realized she was in a different room.
It was not her bedroom even though she was still sleeping in a comfortable bed. The wall was painted red instead of the usual cream and wood color, the floor was carpeted in a gorgeous burgundy shade. The lamp was slightly dim. She felt like she was taken to an entirely different place.
“Where am I?” She wondered. Standing up, she looked around and checked everything inside the room. There was a bathroom inside the room which was handy, but still, it could not get rid of the anxiety within her. She had never been there before and she had no idea what she was supposed to do. There was a door in the room but when she tried to open it,
"Helping hands are better than praying lips." -Mother Teresa- *** "It's already this late. Where is Sabrina?" Alphonse wondered why his favorite student had not come yet. It had been an hour late from their usual time and she had not arrived. There were also no words from her at all. Usually in case of emergencies, she would send Judith or someone to tell him she would not be able to come and make it to the class. He was getting worried. Somehow he could tell there was something wrong but he could not quite figure out what it was yet. He kept on pouring more drinks on his cup to ease his own nerves as he kept on waiting and waiting. The longer he waited, the more uneasy he became. He kept on convincing himself there was probably nothing wrong, or she was just late. Or perhaps something urgent had come up and she needed to take care of it first. Basically Alphonse tried to keep only positive th

It burns it all clean."-Maya Angelou-***As soon as she realized the luna was not in her room, Judith ran to the alpha to inform him of the luna’s escape. She was nervous to tell him the truth, but in the end, he would find out about it himself and it was better for her to be punished early than later, if it was the only ending for her.It was easier in her head though, because as soon as she stood before him, her voice got stuck in her own throat."What is it Judith? You look like you are trying to tell me something.""Forgive me for disturbing your meal, alpha. But I have to inform you that the luna is nowhere to be found in her room." Her voice was shaking as she confessed everything.Everyone had just finished their dinner when the news broke and everyone swiftly placed down their utensils and stared at the poor maid with a
"No beast is more savage than man when possessed with power answerable to his rage." -Plutarch- *** Cordelia sat in her bedroom accompanied by her two youngest children. She was still in a state of shock after what happened earlier. The woman still could not believe how outrageous her eldest son had become. Worse, it was all because of a mere mortal. Beatrix was treating her mother’s wound by placing medication on a piece of cotton pad and gently dabbed it over the wound area. “Does it still hurt?” She asked. Cordelia tried her best to hold in the tears which had started to gather around the rim of her eyes. She was extremely disappointed by his action, but above anything, she was genuinely hurt since she had been taking care of him since he was born, yet he chose a woman over her and placed higher amount of attention toward that woman instead. Perhaps the old saying was right. Love could definitely turn a man
"I either want to be completely recovered or completely emaciated. It's the inbetween that I can't stand, the limbo of failure where you know that you haven't done your best at one or the other. Dying or living." -Marya Hornbacher- *** Maxi opened up his eyes and found himself laying down in the middle of the forest. There was no other sound than the rustling of the leaves carried by the wind hitting his cheek. He stood up and placed his fingers around his temples as he tried to recall what was happening earlier and remembered the mirror sucking him in. Did it accidentally take him to the forest or what? He observed his surrounding and realized something was not right. He grew up on area and have explored every corner of the forest. Even if there were any changes throughout the years, he would still be able to remember them. Not this time though. His surrounding felt alien to him. The forest he was at was not the forest he kn
"If you want real control, drop the illusion of control. Let life live you. It does anyway."-Byron Katie-***The sight of chain wrapped around her freaked Maxi out. Even though she did not show any signs of fear, she groanted as if she was in pain. In fact, as soon as it fully wrapped her body, it was as if life and emotions returned to her blank face and she started to grunted and speak."Maxi, please... please help me. Please stop this pain. It hurts so much. It hurts I feel like I am dying." Her pleading voice pained him. He had never seen her in so much pain like that."I know my love, I am trying!" He did his best to unchain her by grabbing the chains and tried to pull them with his inhuman strength, but even after trying his very best, he was unable to move them. It was so strange, usually he could break any normal steel chain with his muscles, so why couldn't he do it?“What am I supposed to do?&rdquo

Since they were just training and not involved in an actual fight, he found no reason to attack him any further considering the man has surrendered and he have won the fight.Sounds of clapping was heard from around him.“Good job, Felix, it looks like you’ve become much better at defending yourself and attacking your opponent. There are still rooms for improvisation, but for now you can rest for a bit while the other takes t
"Every daring attempt to make a great change in existing conditions, every lofty vision of new possibilities for the human race, has been labeled utopian." -Emma Goldman- *** A few days had passed since Sabrina returned to the manor. The relationship between Sabrina and Maxi had gotten so much better from before. The two were able to laugh and smile at each other without any tension or awkwardness. The alpha had brought her flowers and gifts every single morning when she woke up. When he could not be present there, he would leave them on bottom edge of the bed with a personalized note. Somehow, Maxi had gotten a bit more romantic than before. Perhaps it was due to his fear of losing her, he treated her now like an actual queen, never refusing to any of her whims and desires, paying closer attention to what she was doing and her emotions. So far nothing crazy has happened again. She had started to settle back t
"There is a charm about the forbidden that makes it unspeakably desirable."-Mark Twain-***“I’m done with dinner.” Emmeline squealed as she rose from her seat. Her other siblings were confused because she did not even eat that much compared to her usual portion.“Are you sure? You haven’t even had dessert yet.” Josephine wondered. The young girl confidently nodded.“Yes, I have had enough. I’ll go back to my room now.” She ran out of the dining room, gaining herself curious gazes from her siblings. Even Herod who did not usually pay attention to little things like that began to wonder about the changes he had seen on his youngest sibling recently.“What is going on with that girl? She has become a lot more carefree lately, barely pout and complain or seeking for our attention. Has puberty truly hit her?” Mila wondered, earning herself a shrug from L

"A happy ending is always possible if you are willing to keep the story moving to get there."-Alan Cohen-***Usually when this happened, he would summon her either in the office or their bedroom. This time, it was different. He summoned her to the garden and she wondered why. Maxi was not someone who would come to the garden without purpose, simply because he was not a nature person. She did not think too much and followed until she saw him standing near a big tree in the end of the garden.“What is it, Maxi? Why have you called me at this hour?” She wondered. He smiled slyly as he grabbed her hand without saying anything. Then he suddenly transformed into a wolf and asked her to jump on top of him.Of course, Sabrina did not understand the reason why. She just did as he said and he mind linked her to hold on tightly. She grabbed a handful of his fur and Maxi started running. The sudden motion surprised her a
The surest way to be happy is to seek happiness for others. -Martin Luther King Jr.- *** “Luna, please drink this chicken broth soup. It had been brewed with several spices that would replenish your energy.” Judith handed over a bowl to her and she slowly drank it using spoon. She had gotten used to the taste of the soup since it has been delivered to her every single day for the past month. It was a traditional recipe for breastfeeding woman in the clan. Truthfully, she hated the taste since it was so bitter and balsamic, but each time she was done with the bowl, she always felt better than before so she kept on taking it so she could breastfeed her children well. “Judith, I want to see the twins.” She wiped her lips and gave the order. The maid nodded and walked out of the room. Sabrina swore she was starting to get really bored inside the manor. Since she has not fully recovered yet, Maxi has not allowed her to go
"We have a secret in our culture and it's not that birth is painful. It's that women are strong."-Laura Stavoe Harm-***The day of Sabrina’s labor has arrived. Since midnight, she had been sent to a guest room which had been re arranged for her delivery. The entire time, Maxi has been holding her hand for hours. She had been in so much pain and her scream could be heard from outside the room and the manor. The guards had been arranged to guard around the manor and ensure nobody from the outside could get inside except for the birth maids. An hour after the initial contraction, Dr Hay and two other birth maids helped her with the delivery process and they too had not rested for hours, taking turn in supporting her to ensure everything was fine.“You can do it my love, just push a bit further.” Maxi was a bit worried for her since she was going to deliver a hybrid baby. "Being gifted needs courage."-Georg Brandes-***That morning after breakfast, Maxi accompanied Sabrina to the green house where Alphonse was. She brought a small pouch filled with a few stones Maxi gave her and she planned on giving it over to Alphonse. She opened the green house door and saw him sitting there while drinking tea like usual. He quickly noticed their arrival and invited him with a polite smile on. She walked in with Maxi and greeted him cheerfully.“Good morning, Alphonse. Sorry to disturb you this early without any notice, but I have come here to thank you for everything. I thought of giving you something as a token of my gratitude.” She pulled out the pouch from her pocket and handed it over to him.“What is this, luna?” The man opened up the pouch and was surprised by the crystal he saw. Alphonse recognized them right away and he nearly teared up because of it. He was not

Even though her relationship with the other members of the family was still strained, Sabrina did not care and simply focused on herself and her pregnancy.A day after she returned from the kidnapping, she was worried for the fetus inside of her. Everything that happened might have caused some injury on the baby but she went and had her baby checked and the doctor said everything was fine. However, that morning she woke up and realized her bump was much bigger than before. When she went to bed, she was sure the bump was not that large and this scared her. She quickly woke Maxi up and her panicked face was all he needed to call the doctor again.Even though it was early in the morning, just an ho

If what the goddess was saying, it must mean that she was her great grandmother from her mother.“How is that even possible?” She wondered. Before she died, her mother had never told her anything about her grandmother or great-grandmother. She has never mentioned anything about their lineage so Sabrina had never heard of it before.“Yes, you are right, she is from your mother’s lineage. However, this scene right here is only the beginning. Let me show y
"Hell is empty and all the devils are here."-William Shakespeare-***Once everything was over, the room completely transformed itself. The two of them walked out from the room with Herod dragged around. They were in the place's living room and They wondered what they were supposed to do with him."Let me go, you filthy werewolves. I rather die than become your prisoner." Herod spat, angering Maxi and Alphonse."I think we should just get rid of him right away. His siblings are all dead. If he's left alive he might end up taking revenge on us again in the future and we cannot risk that." Maxi suggested with a cold, dangerous tone. This man dared to hurt his luna and mate. For an alpha, that was the biggest humiliation and threat he could receive in his entire life."I completely agree. Luna, if you allow me, I will erase this man's existence right here and now. This man is better off dead than alive." She was a bit
"The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it."-John 1:5-***Sabrina stood in front of the witches completely unharmed with Alphonse standing beside her. Maxi stood up and took a deep breath to regain his strength. The blow did make an impact on him and his body still hurt but seeing Sabrina safe was all he needed. He walked toward his woman while dispelling each attack thrown his way and managed to reach his woman. He went to give her a huge hug and during this time, Josephine and Herod joined forces to attack them from a close distance but Alphonse quickly used his magic to break theirs. The power they had learnt from years of practice suddenly became nothing in front of Alphonse.“You! Just who are you!?” They wondered for they had never known or seen him before. They also did not know that the Azure Blood clan specifically had such strong wizard on their side. They knew the
