The sound of his breathing was loud enough to be heard from meters away, no matter how hard he tried to run, the other sound of wolves howling and strong paws stomping against the ground in marching rhythm was ever so close.
His deep blue eyes were gleaming under the moon, filled with terror and deep anxiety. It was a matter of life and death. He had been in one of those before, but this time, the possibility of him escaping was so thin, a part of him wanted to give up. However, he was too cowardly to die in their hands, therefore, the only option he had was to run away. As far and fast as he could.
