Chapter 87.

Laura's POV.

As the water made love to my aching body in the bathtub, my mind was filled with joy and uncertainty, the fear of the unknown that I feel is running deep into me and I don't know how to escape the fear or stop it.

My fingers trail on the mark etched on my neck and a sad smile appeared on my face. If everything had been normal in my life, if I could have had a normal life like every normal werewolf out there, this would have been a dream come true, a life as the Luna of a very powerful Alpha would be divine but as luck would have it, I'm not a normal werewolf, I'm not even a complete werewolf, I'm a complicated being with a complicated life and so many mysteries and dangers surrounded me.

With the dangers around me, it could only mean that whoever comes close to me would definitely be affected and I do not want that. I've promised to keep my loved ones away from harm and I mean every word of it. No harm shall come close to them because of me.
