“No baby I don't. Today is all about you and making sure you’re calm and ready for your ceremony. I know Magnus and his brothers have promised you to take things slow and move at your pace so I will give you the same assurance. I have no interest in rushing you or urging you to accept me as your mate. I am content to wait for when you are ready.” He murmured softly as he took the washcloth and started to wash my arms and chest.

“You’re here,” I whispered in disbelief as I stared at each one of them wide-eyed. “You’re all here.” I gasped and before I was even aware of it I was down the stairs and launched myself at them, Magnus being the closest one caught me and crushed me to him, his arms around me tight, my legs around his waist and our lips locked in a searing kiss. As soon as the howls rang out I shifted into my smokey grey wolf and howled once more and soon enough every other wolf started to take off their clothes and shift, joining my pack for a time-honoured tradition of a run through pack lands led by the Alpha. After the food and drinks were done people started to leave or stay in empty barack rooms or whatever empty homes were available but for the most part, people chose to leave and head back to their own packs. Once the food and everything else was cleaned up and the candles had safely burned down and the fires were put out it was finally time to call it a night. I went inside and straight to the bathroom, having a long shower and scrubbing every inch of my body and my hair.Once I was done I lotioned my skin and put on panties as well as a green slip nightgown. I woke the next morning to soft murmuring coming from the bedroom doorway, the voices hushed and low so as not to wake me or have me hear what is being said. I roll over and look to see Kane in the doorway talking to Tristan, both with worried looks on their faces. Immediately I was on alert and sat up, climbing out of bed and making my way to the door. “What's the matter? What happened?” I asked as I stepped up in front of Kane and looked at Tristan. He looked down at me and sighed, running his hand through his hair. “The black wolves attacked last night or really early this morning, just before dawn. Once again no one was killed and we had no idea they were there until the moment they attacked and then they were gone again without a trace.” He explained as he leaned against the door jam, a tired look on his face.

I sat in my office for the next few hours and called each Alpha in our alliance, starting with Silas and it was a strained conversation but he didn’t have any light to shed on the situation, his warriors hadn't seen any of the black wolves at all. Talking with the other Alphas turned out to be just as pointless as no one else had any reports of a run-in with the black wolves. As the tables were set up and Vigo from the cafeteria started bringing out dish after dish with the help of the cafeteria staff. I woke in the morning feeling warm and secure, two sets of arms wrapped snugly around me with Kane’s face in my neck and Magnus’s in my hair. That couldn’t be comfortable. I walked into the suite and found my men lounging on the couch in a very relaxed and domesticated manner. Kane was just in sweats and he sat in the corner of the sectional going over a few papers from a folder, a small frown of concentration on his face. I looked around the space in awe, it was open concept and beautifully set up. There was a nice clean entranceway that opened up into a spacious living room with cream coloured couches, a navy blue coloured recliner chair, pale grey walls with one navy blue accent wall that was decorated with a collage, a large tv over an electric fireplace, and a huge window that overlooked the side of the house and it was a nice view. The kitchen was just to the side of the living room and it was amazing. The large stove, butcher block countertops, the stainless steel appliances and all the cabinetry were a nice navy blue colour with brass handles. It was to die for. I walked down the stairs with the bag slung over my shoulder and my shoes and a leather jacket in my hands.
