2022-04-13 07:42:24I woke a few hours later to see the sun streaming through the windows brightly and a glance at the clock showed that it was well into the afternoon. I was surprised to have slept so long and a little annoyed that no one thought to wake me, I was Alpha and shouldn’t be shirking my responsibilities because I needed a nap to recoup after amazing sex. I stretched in bed and felt a good ache in my hips and legs, groaning with how good it felt to stretch. I sat up and looked to see Blaze still sound asleep beside me on the bed, on his stomach with his one hand hanging off the bed. I opened my eyes and looked around in confusion, turning in a small slow circle to take in the sight around me. This was no forest I was familiar with. The next few days I threw myself into work and training, I was up early, ate breakfast quickly and off to morning training before I’d break for lunch, clean myself up and then barricade myself in my office for the rest of the day until supper. I walked down the stairs with the bag slung over my shoulder and my shoes and a leather jacket in my hands. The plan was for us to fly to a rendezvous point, which was a decently rated motel, settle in for the night and once Echo got to us we’d leave in the truck in the morning. With us flying we’d most likely get to the motel before Echo even though he left earlier than us. I watched from inside the shower as Brodryn stripped out of his clothes and stalked across the floor towards me, stepping into the shower and closing the curtain behind him, immediately the temperature rising from the heat he naturally generated. I stayed under the water and made sure I was fully wet before I switched positions with him, both of us careful not to touch one another just yet, the mutual restriction just adding to the building tension. While he got himself wet I made sure to soap every inch of my body, taking my time and shivering from the low rumble emitting from Brodryns chest as he watched me.Once more we switched positions as I rinsed the soap from my body and he scrubbed his skin. I hummed in contentment as I turned in his arms, burrowing my face into his chest and kissing the skin over his heart. “Good morning, beautiful.” Brodryn murmured as he kissed me, his voice deeper and laced with sleep. I chuckled and kissed him back softly before stretching and groaning from how good it felt. “What time are we heading out?” I ask as I look over to Echo’s bed and don’t see him but the shower is running so he’s still in the room. “Once we’re all ready and have everything together we’ll head out. You need to eat since flying took a lot out of you last night. So while you shower I will go and get us some food while Echo stays in here with you.” He explained as he stood up and started to pull on his clothes, sitting on the bed as he put his shoes on and smiled at me as I pulled his hair back and braided it down his back, a happy rumble coming from his chest.

I woke in the morning feeling warm and secure, two sets of arms wrapped snugly around me with Kane’s face in my neck and Magnus’s in my hair. That couldn’t be comfortable. I walked into the suite and found my men lounging on the couch in a very relaxed and domesticated manner. Kane was just in sweats and he sat in the corner of the sectional going over a few papers from a folder, a small frown of concentration on his face. I looked around the space in awe, it was open concept and beautifully set up. There was a nice clean entranceway that opened up into a spacious living room with cream coloured couches, a navy blue coloured recliner chair, pale grey walls with one navy blue accent wall that was decorated with a collage, a large tv over an electric fireplace, and a huge window that overlooked the side of the house and it was a nice view. The kitchen was just to the side of the living room and it was amazing. The large stove, butcher block countertops, the stainless steel appliances and all the cabinetry were a nice navy blue colour with brass handles. It was to die for.
