9. Twin

Bryan drove his car at full speed and he was sure that he broke all the traffic rules. He was sure of it as he drove to his house and once he reached his house; he ran inside.

The servants who were there looked at him worriedly as well as he ran upstairs to a room, once inside the room he saw a man who looked just like him, like an exact copy, lying on the bed clutching his chest and groaning with pain.

"Aaron!" Bryan said as he rushed to Aaron and got on the bed, hiding his identical twin brother in his arms, Aaron was breathing heavily and was in so much pain that his mind blocked out everything.

Aaron was not able to hear Bryan, and neither he was able to feel Bryan's warm embrace, Bryan held him tightly and closed his eyes, "it will be okay, it will be okay." Bryan said and after some time Aaron stopped groaning. His face was covered with sweat and his eyes were heavy as he looked at Bryan.

"Bryan..."

Bryan was trembling as he squeezed his eyes shut, he seemed to be in pain a lot of pain. However he didn't dare to make a single sound as he hugged his brother.

"Bryan..." Aaron called out to him again and this time Bryan opened his eyes, and they looked so tired before he smiled to hide his pain, Bryan gulped, and before he spoke his voice came out as heavy and weak, "are you alright?"

Aaron nodded, "yeah I feel much better, you can let go."

Bryan slowly let Aaron go before he touched his forehead and said, "you are having a fever."

Aaron closed his eyes as he was breathing heavily, "it's not a new thing. You don't have to rush back home every damn time I get sick."

Bryan looked at him with a smile, "don't talk nonsense of course I have to come back to the only family I have when he is sick."

Aaron looked at him and smiled, however, it was weak, "you can't keep this up forever."

Brya did not reply to this and looked back at a maid who bought a tub with cold water and a towel, Bryan properly sat on the bed and put the cold wet towel on Aaron's head.

"You will be fine Aaron." Bryan said, "one day..."

"That day will never come to Bryan," Aaron said with a stiff voice as he stared at the ceiling and Bryan said nothing. After that, he just took another towel and wiped Aaron's hands and neck, and then face.

After Aaron's fever went down, Bryan held his hand tightly as he sat beside him.

"I will heal you Aaron." that was what Bryan thought.

Ashley waited and waited but Bryan did not come back. She waited for five hours before Bryan's secretary told her that Bryan won't be coming back.

So she sighed and decided to go back to her pack.

However, she had actually forgotten that today the alpha of those five packs would be coming to meet her as well, so when she reached home she was informed about it, Rafael.

"I will meet them after I take a bath and eat something," Ashley said to Rafael, who smiled and nodded.

And Ashley took her time to get ready. After all she was sad and heartbroken today and didn't feel like doing anything.

So she spent a good time in the bathtub.

While the five alphas were slowly losing their temper.

"Where is she!" one of them said he could not take it anymore.

There were two female alphas as well and one of them whose name was Carol, "what kind of behavior is this? We are alphas as well. How can she make us wait!"

The other female alpha name Mia spoke as well, "We are her guests, and when an alpha visits as a guest, isn't it a common courtesy to give them priority?"

Alpha Aval also stood up with rage, "that's it I am so done with this behavior."

At the same time, the door opened and two women walked in with some food and drinks and placed it before them, "please eat something. Our alpha will be here anytime."

Aval was so angry that he kicked the table and the food and drinks fell to the ground while the women gasped, "we have been hearing this shit over and over again, is she even here! If she is not, then just tell us we don't have to waste for that bitch!"

One of the maids clenched her fist and yelled back, "hey! don't you dare to say anything insulting about our alpha?"

The other also added, "yes! you lowly alphas the fact that you expect someone like her to give you priority is funny! The fact that she is even allowing filth like you in her pack should be enough for you to be grateful!"

Aval was so mad that he grabbed the collar of that maid and slapped her and the other alphas also stood up and glared at the two maids with so much anger that they were going to rip them to shreds.

"How dare a lowly bitch talk to me like that?!" Aval said and walked towards the maid and they stood up and glared at them with not an ounce of fear in their eyes and that made the alpha's even angrier.

Alpha demands respect and submissiveness and these maids who didn't even hold a rank in the pack were defying him and even dare to insult him.

"I will kill you!" Aval said and was about to grab the maid by the hair again however this time before he can even touch the maid his hand was grabbed by someone else who was none other Ashley glared at Aval and the other alphas stepped back.

Ashley just smirked and crushed Aval's hand, making him scream with agony before throwing him out of the window literally out of the room, and saying, "Aval Black smith your pack is the enemy of Gealach's Ahren starting today! You dared to harm one of my pack members and I won't spare you!"

Aval's face paled, and the other alphas shivered while the maids and Rafael smirked.
