169. Danger

While Harper was doing her job the others waited patiently outside for her to come out.

At the same time Aaron had called Bryan as well and Bryan finally answered his call, Aaron told everything to him on the call and to say Bryan was shocked would be an understatement. He quickly left all his work and was about to rush out.

"What happened?" Roarke asked.

Bryan looked at his phone and sighed, "it seems like we have to deal with a bigger mess, my team thinks that Lucien is still alive."

Roarke was shocked as well, "what? if he is really alive then he is going to come after the council as well, and he would try to harm the tree of life."

Bryan looked at him Roarke, "why would he only come after the council?"

Roarke looked at him in confusion and said, "You don't know?"

Bryan frowned as he asked, "Don't know what?"

Roarke sighed, "the reason why Lucien hated the council and wanted to destroy it and every member who was the part of it was because his mother was a guardian as well."
