My blood ran cold, and I could hear the pounding of my heart in my ears. I didn't want to turn around to confirm it was him, but with the way my body reacted, it was him.

I felt hands yank my hair roughly, and I was turned around swiftly. I was looking right at the man I loathed most. Arlon William. He was bulkier than ever and had gotten more piercing on his face. My gaze traveled to the three men beside him. One was his right-hand man, he assaulted my sister. The other was Santos, I met him in Venice. Santos had a smirk and the man on his left had I didn't recognise.

Before I could register a thing, Arlon slapped me across the face, and I staggered to the ground.

" How dare you think you could leave me after I paid for you!" he roared as he slapped me again. A gasp was heard from the woman who brought me and she rushed to my side. I pushed her away.
