Rachel’s pov.

"I can’t be in the same car with David; hell no way!" I vented.

"I do not want you in this car either; I can’t stand you." David said as he heard Scott and I talk.

I rolled my eyes mentally and glared at him.

"But you have no other choice now, because I am not sure the driver will come today." Scott uttered.

"I would rather walk home, Scott; thank you very much."

"No, why will you do that? You know the park house is far from school." He held my hand and immediately let go.

"I will be fine." I formed a smile at the corner of my lips.

"Alright then, be careful." He said that, walked back into the car, and drove off.

I walked back home when I was still staying with my foster family, the Williams, so why can’t I now? I hung my bag properly and began my journey.
