Chapter 6

Still wondering what’s happening, before I knew it.

I’m engulfed in a very tight hug, that super handsome guy is hugging me so tight.

Sniffing my hair and muttering coherently…

“Mate! Mate! Mate!”

What does he mean? The British men calls their friends mates, could that be what he meant?

“Mate, I found you at last!”

His voice sounds doubled, like someone is echoing his words.

I tried to push him away from me but his grip on me is so tight.

I cough lightly and he quickly pulls away from the hug.

“Mate, are you alright? Di..did I hurt you?”

He asked, worry written all over him.

I frown even more, what the heck is happening?

I better tell him I am not his mate, I’m not his friend.

“I’m not your mate, I’m….”

He cuts me off with a growl, A growl?

He growled like a real animal, is a dog?

Everyone stops howling.

“ I’m not your mate, I’m….”

He cuts me off again with another growl, this time louder than before.

“You’re my mate! I finally found you!”

Oh! Now I understand, I guess his friend was lost before and maybe I look like her.

“Dude listen, I’m not your friend, I might look like her but I’m not her.”

I don’t know you, I’m not your friend.

He smiles.

“Yes, you’re not my friend… you’re my mate!”

Is this guy dumb? Mate and friend are the same thing, maybe I should explain it to him.

“Dude..mate and friends are the same thing!”

He shakes his head.

“You’re my mate, my soul mate!”

“Your soul mate?”

Could it be he’s having psychological problem, could it be he’s nuts.

Such a pity, a handsome young guy like him is not normal.

“Yes you’re my soul mate, the one I’ll spend the rest of my life with!”

“Huh?” spend the rest of your life with me?

“You must be from another pack, what pack are you from?”

“What’s a pack?” I asked him.

Just then someone came in with him and whisper in his ear, he frowns and sniffs the air.

He let go of my hand and step away from me, his gaze hardened and he clenched his teeth.

“You’re human?!”

“Yeah…are you not one also?”

Ok…. I seriously don’t know where that confidence came from, I noticed that since we moved here yesterday, I have been talking more than I used to.

“You’re human!” He growled.

“ Yeah! Alien!” I retort.

He keeps asking if I’m human as though he’s not human.

He balled his fist by his side.

“She’s human! My mate is a freaking human!”

He growls loudly, like he is fighting with himself.

His body shakes, he’s friends rushed forward and forcefully drags him outside.

I shake my head…poor boy he needs to visit a psychiatrist hospital.

I turned back to Ms Joy, she is staring at me in admiration, a satisfied smile on her lips.

“Ms Joy, can I go take a seat now?”

She nods quickly

“Yes, Luna!”

“Luna? You’re mistaken....it Jane actually.!”

“You’re my future Luna, I dare not say your name.”

I opened my mouth to speak but I shake my head and decide against it, I better go look for a seat.

I turned around trying to find a vacant chair…. But discovered they all have the same look Ms. Joy had just now.

They’re all looking at me like their God and they wanna worship me.

I ignored them as Rebecca is calling me over to the empty desk next to her.

I better go sit down not, I can’t stand their stare.

Lex’s Apartment

Tonia and Tony made sure Jane was in her room with her door closed before they start their conversation.

“Tonia, does this means Jane is the Alpha prince mate?” Tony asked.

“ I think so, they wouldn’t be calling her Luna if she isn’t!”

Tony frown and shakes his head.

“No!” he paused.

“But she’s human……Luna?”

“It doesn’t matter, what ,matters is she’s going to stay here.

“Tonia we shouldn’t just be thinking of the advantage, Luna always have a great responsibilities on their shoulders.

“Do you think she can control those wolves?”

And beside she doesn’t know about us, maybe we should tell her first….you know introduce her to…..

“No!” Tonia cuts him off.

“No, we can’t tell her, kit seems you’re forgetting what happened when she saw that guy shift in front of her.”

It was miracle she survived…no!

We can’t let history repeat itself!

“Then what are we gonna do? We can’t keep her in the dark forever”

Tonia stays silent and thinks about it for a few minutes.

“I’ll go to the palace first and confirm if she’s truly the future Luna queen!”

“Then if she is….what’s going to happen?”

“I’ll….”

A knock on the door interrupts her, she frowns at Tony.

“Are you expecting someone?”

Tony shakes his head but she doesn’t believe and glares at Tony.

“Pray that isn’t one of your girlfriends..or I swear I’ll cut off your balls!

She threatened him.

Tony quickly slams his legs together and cover his dick.

“What? I need this to create my pups you know?

He replies dramatically as ever.

Tonia got up and head towards the door, she opens it and saw a guy outside, she tilts his head and saw a tattoo on the guy’s neck.

“Royal messenger?’ She asked as she recognizes the tattoo.

The guy nods and reaches out his hand for a handshake.

“Marcus Williams!”

“ Tonia Lex!”

Marcus nods.

“Alpha king sent for you!” Marcus said.

“Ok, I’ll be there right away!” Tonia replies.

Marcus leaves and Tonia walk back in, he doesn’t need to tell Tony what Marcus came for, Tony heard their conversation clearly.

“I guess you’re summoned to know why Jane isn’t a wolf”

“ Yeah, my thoughts too!”

“Let’s prepare ourselves for the worse…who knows if they’ll change their minds and ask Jane to leave” Tony sighs.

“Let’s not jump into conclusion, they might just wanna…”

Tonia’ s ear pricks up as she hears Jane’s water stops running.

“I’ll head to the palace and tell you how it went, Jane is coming you guys should eat first!”

Tony simply nods.

“Also, watch her do any homework she have and make sure she keeps her book and fall asleep before doing whatever you want to do!”

Tony roll his eyes.

“Tonia give that girl a break, there’s nothing wrong with her studying”

“There’s nothing wrong…but we can’t risk her having any headaches..”

“You’re treating her like a fragile egg..wait, are you falling in love with your sister? Your biological sister?!”

Tony exclaimed over dramatically.

Tonia smacks his head, fool I am no lesbian and I can’t fall for my sister.

“I don’t know how you end up been my brother”

Tony nods thoughtfully, bites his nails with a serious expression on.

“Yeah …. I don’t know how you ended up been my sister?!” He wonders.

Then he snaps his fingers as if he just realized something.

“ I remember! Mom once told me you were picked from the dumpster!”

Tonia grits her teeth and balled her fist, though playfully.

“Anthony Williams Lex!!!” she growls charging at Tony on the sofa.

Just then Jane walked into the sitting room, she didn’t study the situation at first.

She rushes forward and separates them but Tonia isn’t letting go of Tony.

Then she steps back and studied them, she realizes they are just fooling around.

Folding her arms across her chest, she shakes her head and sigh deeply.

A little bit exaggerating.

“Bunch of kids! Thankfully, I’m responsible else I wouldn’t know what to do with this kids!”

she sighs again.

She watches them for few minutes, she then clap her hands to get their attention when she’s had enough show but they didn’t break apart.

Then she falls to the ground and starts crying, holding her heads as she cries.

“It hurts…it hurts….i can’t breathe..my head’s gonna explode, it really hurts…!” she cries.

Tonia and Tony quickly breaks apart and rushed towards her, Tonia sits on the floor and rest her head on her laps.

She starts massaging her forehead gently.

“Does it still hurt? Did you try to solve any math in there?”

I thought I told you not to stress yourself studying too much? Tonia questioned her.

Though she tries to male her voice bold but anyone can clearly hear the panic in it.

She turns to Tony.

“Quick got get her pills!”

Just as Tony was about to rush off, Jane burst into laughter and sits up.

“It works every time!” she said and gets up.

Tony and Tonia stares at her, with their mouths slightly open.

“You were tricking us? Tony asked.”

“Yeah, I’m starving and you both of you don’t look like you were going to leave each other soon.

I had to do that to get your attention! She explained.

Tonia takes a deep breath and got up, she pulls her cheeks gently.

“Please don’t joke with something like this again next time, ok!”

She nods and turns to Tony, he’s still staring at her like he can’t believe what just happened.

“You’ve just broke my heart, I wonder which of my girlfriends will break it later!”

He said and begin to wipe an imaginary tears.

Jane laughs.

“Tony, you don’t have a heart..You’ve trade your heart for you face!” Tonia said.

Jane laughs the more.

Tony holds his chest.

“Another heart break!” he cried.

Jane shakes her head..She loves her sibling, even thou Tonia is a bit too strict with her.

She still loves her as much as she loves Tony!

“Alright, Jane is hungry….you guys should go eat first I’m heading out” Tonia said.

She nods at Tony and rushes out before Jane could ask her any questions.

Jane turns to Tony.

“Where’s Tonia going?”

Tony shrug.

“Who knows? Maybe she’s got a boyfriend at last!”

“Boyfriend?”

“Yeah..come let’s go eat!” Tony said and pulls Jane towards the dining table.

Alpha King’s Mansion….

Mason

I enter my room and closed the door, but halts abruptly when I see a figure laying on my bed.

I frown and sniffs the air, I balled my fist and glared at the figure on my bed.

“Hannah! What are you doing in my room?!” I growled.

Hannah turns to me with a flirtatious smile.

“Waiting for you!” She said.

I opened the door, walk towards her and grab her leg and pulled off my bed..she falls in a thud.

“Get out!” I said.

Hannah gets up and reaches her hand forward to touch my chest, but I quickly catch her hand before she could touch me.

“Mason, come on….why don’t you like me anymore?

We always used to be close since childhood, but you’ve been distant towards me recently.

She explained to me.

“We’ve never been close and beside you’ve got your mate already, I have mine too!” I told her.

Hannah stomps her feet and snatches her hand from me.

“But I don’t like him, he’s too old and ugly!”

“Cam is not old! He’s just 23!”

“And I’m 18! I don’t want him, you’re the one I want!”

“You can’t have me I have found my mate!”

She huffed disgustingly.

“I don’t care! We can reject our mates and be with each other!”

“No! I’m not gonna reject my mate for you!”

“But we make a perfect pair…”

“Hannah leave now before you get me angry!”

Hannah walks back to my bed and sits down, she crosses her legs.

“Our family have been very close since I could remember, why can’t we just make us closer? I can lead the pack with you!”

“Your mother been the pack cook, doesn’t make us any close leave!”

I grit out.

“No! I’m so much better than that weak human and……”

She wasn’t able to complete her statement, cause my hands wrapped around her neck and lifts her off the bed.

Her legs dangled as she chokes, her air lungs blocked.

My eyes change colors as Blade surface and glares at her.

“How dare you call your Luna weak?!!!” he asked in a deep growl.

Hannah eyes turns red as she silently begs Blade to let her go, Blade’s grip on her only becomes tighter.

“Mas….on…!”

Blade’s grip tighten more…..

“Al…alpha…prince..i….” she swallows her words.

Blade narrows his eyes until I was back in control, I look straight in her eyes.

“This is the last time you will come into my room without my permission, and is you dare bad mouth my mate again..”

“I’ll make you pay for it!” I warn her.

Hannah nods frantically, hoping I will let go of her.

I throw her on the ground and she starts to cough, gasping for air.

“Get out!” I growled at her.

She quickly runs out, I walked towards my bed and sniff it in..i frown as I perceive Hannah’s scent on it.

“James! Come to my room and change my bed sheets!”

I command one of the cleaners through my mind-link.

“Yes, alpha prince.”

I walked towards a couch and slumps onto it, I close my eyes and recall what just happened.

“I hate humans and I hate her, but why did I get angry when Hannah insulted her?” I wonder.

I had purposely let Blade take control to teach Hannah a lesson for insulting our mate.

Just then I received a mind-link from dad, asking me to come to his office.
