"Now we know who our Luna is." After relaying Lydia’s mind-link report to Archer, Issac concluded.
“Elena, the daughter of the Dark River Pack’s Beta, and the only girl who escaped from she-wolves trafficking.”
“Thank Moon Goddess.” Archer murmured with one hand on his forehead, “She had a twin sister who was sacrificed to the 50-year-old Alpha by their beta parents. Maybe they tried to sacrifice her too.”
Leo grounded his fangs in his mind, “Don’t forget Bella, dude. That’s her best and only friend and they sold her too. WHAT A DEN OF MONSTERS!”
“I know.” Archer soothed him and turned to Issac, who continued his report, “Alpha Xavier is the one behind that. Lilian is just one of his victims.”
“Our friends of other species also found girls missing.” said Archer, “We should pay a visit to some of them for more clues.”
"Speaking of clues, this is what the mermaids got for us.” Issac handed Archer a file, “They lurked in the border waters and spied on two deliveries from the monster pack. Guess what they found? You can never imagine: It was the fathers and brothers that transported their daughters and sisters. They just acted like unrelated strangers to the girls."
"What?" Archer frowned.
"They were poisoned. The mermaids picked up a small bottle of pills there. It dropped from one of the he-wolves. I had the doc do a analysis.” Issac opened an eye-link to show the testing report, “Long-term use of the pills will cause mental trance and memory loss. That’s why they became so cold-blooded, numb, and even unable to recognize their family members."
Archer read the report carefully, "Wolfsbane, some chemical things only found in the human world..." he frowned to the “UNKNOWN”, “What’s this ingredient?”
Issac shrugged, “Unknown yet. Some mysterious Herbs, maybe. ”
Archer leaned back to his chair and tapped the desk with his fingers, "It's not the same as the half-pill I found at the place where Lilian disappeared, though quite similar.” He paused to think it over, “So Alpha Xavier has worked with the humans and produced two drugs. One is for the girls, the other is for their families."
Issac nodded, "Seems so."
Archer remembered the toxins in Elena’s body, "Elena’s toxins was different from these two drugs too. How many drugs did they produce?”
“Who knows.” Issac sighed heavily to the complicated situation, “I have a bad feeling that we might be on to something really big.”
“But there's only one thing you should care about right now.” Leo reminded Archer, “How to cleanse her toxins."
“Sure." Archer got deep in thought, "So first, we have to figure out how she got poisoned."

Elena returned to the room where she woke up, tired of talking and thinking back to all the bad things.
She confessed everything except what her parents fed her, and allowed Lydia to tell her Issac. She was sure that Alpha would know soon. So the only thing she needed to do was just waiting.
Elena let out of a sigh of relief and exhaustion, and a drowsy feeling crept over her. “Could you leave me alone, please?” She mumbled to Lydia. The latter had earned some of her trust by offering the most patience and understanding, so she’d like to be more kind and polite.
Lydia looked at her worriedly, "You sure you don’t eat anything? You look pale."
Elena just shook her head listlessly and crawled onto the bed like a frail kitten.
She’d let Archer know about his Luna’s appetite. Lydia thought and silently walked out.
Elena closed her eyes and failed to fall asleep at once. Her mind was in a whirl, fragments of the past flashing back chaotically.
She was not so suspicious before. Like any innocent child, she trusted her family.
Until she was 8 years old.
The little Eliana looked exactly like her. They both had short black hair, dark eyes, and healthy wheat tans for running around the yard every day. And when they smelled the familiar scent of eggs wafting out of their kitchen window, they knew it was their dearest mother luring them home with her best omelets.
“Parsley for Eliana, and paprika for Elena.” said Abigail in front of the windowsill, sprinkling her homemade spices on each of the two omelets. And then Eliana and she would let out a cheer and ran home hand in hand.
They always raced to see who finished her plate first and then went for the other's. And Abigail would wipe her hands on her apron while watching her daughters with the most loving smile.
But someday, when they were playing games in the yard, Greyson appeared at the windowsill in place of Abigail.
“Come on and eat, pups!” The stern middle-aged man shouted impatiently.
Little Elena stopped and pulled Eliana up from the ground. “Do you smell?” She sniffed, “Mom’s omelets.”
“Yeah.” Eliana muttered, “Something is different.”
Actually, everything was different.
Abigail was sobbing behind the door, leaving the two of them struggling to eat the yucky omelets under Greyson’s watch.
“Mom, where’s my paprika?” asked Elena.
“There it is. The red thing.” Greyson pointed her plate and exhaled a smoke ring.
“It’s not my paprika. It’s sticky.” She threw a tantrum in her delicate voice. But Greyson just glared at her, “Would you eat or not?”
Eliana looked from her father to sister. Unknown fear pushed her to nibble her omelet which was as sticky as Elena’s.
Minutes later, she threw up as Elena started to cry.
“You have a poor sense of taste, my little wolves!” Abigail rushed out with tears sliding down her face, "Remember my advice.” She held them in her arms and whispered in their ears, “If you’re offered any food, don’t eat."
“What are you talking about, bitch!” Greyson smashed a wine glass towards them. The glass shattered into pieces in front of Elena, and then reassembled into a mirror reflecting her and Eliana at the age of 12.
They were hiding in the lady’s bathroom at school. There was nobody here. In fact, they were the only two left in the whole girls’ school.
“Where are the others?” Young Elena asked timidly, “Alice? Phoebe? Carmen?” The three girls were their last schoolmates.
“They shifted last night.” Eliana replied an irrelevant answer.
Elena looked at her in the mirror. They still looked the same, but their expressions were different.
Eliana added calmly, even coldly, "It was Mom's spices that saved us."
"What do you mean?”
“We don’t have wolves." Sedate Eliana turned to panicked Elena, “The girls with wolves would be living death."
"What?"
"Because they will be in heat and ruined by dirty lust."
Dirty lust.
Lust.
Lust...
“Lust makes a girl a woman.”
With that, Xavier emerged in the mirror at which Elena staring, holding Eliana on his lap.
Eliana just got out of the 18th birthday party Greyson threw for her alone, wearing a crop top, a spangle skirt and age-inappropriate makeup. She had been taller, with dyed long curly hair which Elena didn’t have, looking up at the devil Alpha with a flattering smile.
Xavier kissed her cheek and reached his wrinkled hand into her top.
“You are far more beautiful than you twin.” The gray-haired old man squeezed her puffy breasts out of her v-neck as he leaned to sniff her virginal fragrance, “Look at her hair! She’s just a tomboy.”
Eliana giggled, “She is!” then moaned when her pink nibbles were thumbed. She put her thumb into her mouth and stroked her pussy in white panties, mumbling, “So Daddy likes me better.”
“He taught you this?” Xavier covered her little hand on her pussy and led her to rub in circles.
“No.” She wiggled and whispered in his ears, “I was self-taught.”
Buried in her breasts, Xavier let out a muffled chuckle, “Naughty girl.”
“Only for you. You don’t know how much I love you.” She pouted and murmured to him, just like he was her best mate.
“Really?” Xavier’s smile widened to a large, fierce-looking mouth, “Then why didn’t you sacrifice your virgin before you get so old?”
All of sudden, he torn her top apart and bared his fangs at her tender neck.
"Get off her!" snarled Elena.
She pounced on out of her mind, but a transparent wall blocked her. Her fallen sister was going to be invaded by the evilest man right in front of her, and there was nothing she could do!
"FUCK! XAVIER!” Elena cried out blood with the most hatred, punching and kicking the invisible wall with all her strength, “I WILL SEND YOU TO HELL!"
In response, Xavier turned into a giant black wolf and let out a terrifying growl. Eliana's scream cut through her twin sister’s heart, and Laurel roared out almost at the same time.
Burning, with a splitting headache and an exploding heart, Elena cried out --
"Ahhhhhh!"
"WAKE UP, ELENA!!”
The familiar male voice pierced through her mind.
“I’m here, Elena! Do you hear me? WAKE UP!!!"
With that call, the evil world of Elena's dream shook and crumbled into pieces. She open her tear-filled eyes, seeing a pair of blue eyes glistening in the dark, and the owner of the eyes was holding her face.
“It was just a nightmare. You’re with me now.” The most handsome man she’d ever seen whispered as his lips almost touching hers, "No worries, honey. I'll help you send whoever you hate to hell."
It’s him. Alpha Archer. Elena staredat him in silence, panting and sensing Laurel strikingher heart-wall in huge excitement. Lup-dup! Lup-dup! She pressed on her left breast, trying to use all her strength to block her wolf, but with little success. “Why are you here?” asked Elena, shivering unknowingly. Archer wondered if she knew the look on her face at thismoment:alittlewaryoutof suspicion, andso much longing forrejoice being saved. “I’m here for you.” He answered quietly. They stared at each other for a moment. Elena was the first to look awayandexhaled heavily,"Thank you for everythingyou helped." “Hmm. Sounds like you’re saying goodbye.” Chucklingwith interest, Archer gotback a little to spare some space for her. Elena gavehim a quick glance and sat up as he tucked a cushion behind her. “I’m not.
“Why are you males always so sure when you talk about mating?” Elena murmured, literally confused, “Xavier promised Eliana to mate with her, but the fact was, he just marked her and convinced her to believe that was mating. And he still sleeps with other women!” She looked away from his gaze, “Dad matedwith mom but he seldom treats her well either. So what is mating exactly? Just sex?” “I was confused too.” Archer said, “And I’m so glad that I was not the only one confused with this question.” “Was?” His words drew Elena’s eyes back, “You’re not confused any more?” Archer grabbed her little hand and put it on his chest. His heart pounding under her palm, as heavily and fast as hers. “I don’t think I am, after I find my mate.” Elena gasped and withdrewher hand, lowering her blushed face. “It'sthe first time it beats like this.” whispered Archer, “SoI can be sure. But I don’t know Xavier, or other males. I never d
Archer led Elena into the largest restaurantof the Silver Mountain Pack. Along the way, a number of passersby cast amazedglances at Elena, making her feel less than comfortable. The dress did suit her, and with adequate nutrition and sleep, she was looking good. But it had been a long time sincethe last timeshe waswell-dressed. Every now and then she pulled downthe hem of the dress to cover her slender thighs. Dressing like this couldn’t makeher feel safe. "Anything wrong?" Archer asked with concern, noticing her depression and silence. "Yes." Elena replied honestly, "The dress could get me in trouble." “How come?”Archer stopped and looked around, “You are impressing everyone.” “That’s the problem.”said Elena, “I’m not supposed to draw so much attention to myself.” Archer frowned, but still shieldedher from the curious stares,"You’re pretty. Pretty girls will naturally d
Elena rubbed herbelly, let out a small burp, still unable to believe that she was convinced by aman. It was her first time toget fullbecause ahearty mealmightmake her sleepy. She had to keep awake all the time in the Dark River Pack. But in front of Archer, she knew she could fall asleep without caution. Shelifted her eyes and glanced at him. Archer never took his eyes off her, which madeher heart burn. “What are you looking atanyway?” Archer smiled and reached out and wiped the sticky cheese fromthe corner of her mouth. “My favorite.” With that, he licked the cheese off his finger, with his eyes still on her. Elena gasped, feeling the burning point transfer from her heart to her vagina. She didn’t understand what happened at first, but the feeling was too strong to bemistaken. She was turned on. Suddenly. Archer wasn’t on purpose to start the flirtation. It w
Archer took two days with Issac to visit some friends from other species and races. As he knew, they were cooperating with the Dark River Pack after the wars for a living. “I’m always wondering how you knew so many friends.”Issac said admiringly, “Teach me. Where do you learn your social skills from?” “Travelling?”Archer laughed, “I don’t have any skills. I just help people who need help.” “Yeah. But none of rogues travel so many places like you.” "You don’t know.” “Right.”Issac laughed too. What he admired most about Archer was his humility. Archer was the best Alpha and the best male wolf he’d ever known, but he never showed off. “Now let’s see what we’ve got.”Archer said. They found three species that recently had a contact with Alpha Xavier: The unicorns -- they had the ability to recognize virgins from all over the species. The phoenixes -- they got little girls’young voice in
Archer and Issac returned to the packat the crack of dawn, bothexhausted. "Where the hell is the canal?" Issac wrung out his wet clothes,"We searchedaround the water area oftheislandand found nothing.” He pushed his hair back irritably, “Let’s just dress astheDark River guards. We candrivea boat straight to the island." "Noway. We don't know the packwell enough to actas their people." "Ask your mate! It’s her pack." Archer gave him a blaming look,“It’s not.” "Sorry.”Issac rolled his eyes, "How lucky my mate has a good pack and doesn’t have trust issues." “Issac!” Lydia’s voice came through the mind-link. “Honey! We’re talking about you.” Issac replied with a perky wink toward Archer. It was Archer’s turn to roll his eyes, but Lydia threw a bomb to shock them: “Kitty is missing. We need you and Archer
A reward. That was something she never had had; her life was more like a punishment before she met him. What would it be? Elena didn’t like Archer’s dominant attitude. But she couldn’t resist his temptation, and her own curiosity. So still, she talked as he asked: “Kittymusthaveshifted for the first time last night. ” She explained how she got such a conclusion according to her disastrous past. “You have a big security breach. ”She looked around from the wolves to Archer, “You appoint young girls as enforcers to station at the border, including those who don’t even have a wolf.” “Kitty is as competent as us! It doesn’t matter whether she’s shifted or not.”Ada protested. “Sure she is, but Kitty shouldn’t have been on duty this year since every wolf knows that the general shift happens at her age and the first shift will make her suffer.”Elena replied coldly, “Your pack is too safe for a
After finishing a new round of exploration of the entrance to the Full Moon Island, Archer burst out to the surface and floated on the sea, squinting at the dazzling sunlight and thinking about his Luna. She was in his pack now, training hard according to the training plan he had set up, with her wolf. More than a month had passed since the last meeting in the auditorium, and he still hadn't seen her wolf. From what Lydia said, it was a rare little red wolf, which he had only seen it once in his life, even rarer than a silver wolf. Crimson, cherry and orange made up her gradient coat color with a tuft of snow-white fur on her belly, just like his. What a sweet coincidence, they were just made for each other. But she just wouldn't let him see her wolf, even though he had made no reservations about her. In annoyance, he rolled over and faced down like a floating corpse, trying to let the sea drown his disappointment. "You don't have no reservations about her, b
