Mag-log in“Good morning, sleeping beauty.” Bella’s voice beamed, jolting me awake. I slowly opened my eyes to see her opening the blinds, and I quickly shut my eyes as the rays of sunshine hit them. Turning to the other side, I opened my eyes again. I looked around the room, hoping to see Maximus, but he wasn’t in sight, and that left me wondering where he went. I didn’t even think he returned yesterday night. I was awake for a long time, waiting for him to return and thinking about the things he did to me before sleep swept me away. I wondered why he touched me, arousing me, and then suddenly stormed out of the room afterwards. Did I do something wrong? Or could it be part of his torture scheme? Bella abruptly yanked the blanket off my body. “Wake up, Miss. It’s time for breakfast.” “I’m awake.” I sighed as I lazily sat up. “Have you seen him this morning?” I asked Bella. I didn’t need to mention his name for her to know who I was talking about. “No, I haven’t.” She replied before turning her gaze in a particular direction. “But he asked that those things be brought to you.” I trailed her line of sight, and my eyes narrowed when I saw the customised boxes and paper bags sitting on the sofa at one end of the room. “What are those?” I asked curiously. “Let’s check them out.” She squealed as she pranced towards the sofa. Jumping out of bed and approaching her, I watched as she unboxed the items. The contents included shoes, dresses, night wares, jewellery, and all sorts of things that I had never owned in my entire life. They looked really expensive. “Why did he get all these things for me?” I voiced out my thoughts. “Because you are his mate.” Bella affirmed, nudging me excitedly. She drooled over the gifts, wishing she would one day get to own things like that. But I, on the other hand, wasn’t too happy about them, knowing they might just be compensation for the torture he and Lauren were preparing for me. I hated them. “I’ll arrange them.” Bella offered, and I didn’t object. She arranged everything in the space Maximus left for me in the closet, and after that, she took me out to the kitchen to have breakfast. Thankfully, I woke up late, and all the pack members had already had their breakfasts, so the kitchen was empty. “What would you like to have?” Bella asked me. “Sandwich and coffee.” I told her. “What about you? I could make it for both of us.” “No. I won’t allow you to. It’s my duty. That’s what I was assigned to do.” She quickly protested. “But I know how to cook and do all that stuff. I used to do it in my old pack.” I pouted. “Like you said, your old pack. Not here.” She dragged me to one of the stools and forced me to sit on it. “I’ll get into trouble if the Alpha sees you doing any sort of work. I had been instructed to do everything for you.” I rolled my eyes. “I am not a baby.” “You are his baby.” She teased and giggled before trudging to the coffee marker to begin preparing breakfast for me. Only if she knew what I had to endure yesterday. “Look who’s here.” Lauren’s annoying voice suddenly sounded, and I hoisted my head to see her walking into the kitchen. I sighed and rolled my eyes. Not again. “Did you just roll your eyes at me?” She questioned me, her arms akimbo, with a frown slated on her face. Ignoring her, I focused on Bella, who was preparing sandwiches, while occasionally glancing at me to make sure I was okay. “Are you deaf?!” Lauren yelled as she marched towards me. “I don’t want any trouble!” I snapped. “That’s exactly what I intend to give to you.” Before I knew what was happening, she had already grabbed my hair tightly and pulled my head back with it. “Lauren!” Bella exclaimed as she rushed towards us. “What? Do you want your hair to be pulled too?" She threatened with a raised brow. “Stop this nonsense!” I yelled, wincing in pain as I tried to free myself in a futile attempt. She was much stronger than me. “What did you do with Maximus yesterday? Uh?” She asked. “I know he asked me to leave because of you.” “Nothing!” I lied. “Unless you tell me the truth.” She pulled my hair harder, and I groaned in pain. “I won’t release you.” “I said, nothing!” I gritted out. “Maximus is mine, and mine alone. Don’t you ever think of stealing him away from me just because you are mates. I would—“ She trailed off when we heard two she-wolfs greeting the Alpha just outside the kitchen. She quickly let go of my hair and, within a split second, dishevelled her own hair. I widened my eyes in perplexity, knowing what she was about to do. Just then, Alpha King Maximus appeared in the doorway. I glanced at Lauren only to see that her eyes were already wet with crocodile tears. She was a damn actress. “What happened?” He asked, concerned, as he inched closer to her and placed his hand on her shoulder. “Starlette.” She pointed an accusatory finger at me, sobbing. “She pulled my hair so hard, now I have a headache.” “I didn’t do it.” I defended myself. “You did.” She retorted. “You were jealous about what happened yesterday; you got so angry and attacked me.” “You have to believe me.” My attention is on Alpha Maximus now. “I didn’t do it. Look at my hair. She did this to me.” His nose flared, and he began to take intimidating steps towards me. The frown rooted deep in his face scared me, and I recoiled instinctively. My heart began to beat so fast against my ribcage, afraid of what he might do to me. And when he came to a stop in front of me, his intoxicating scent became stronger and hit my nose harder. Memories of last night came rushing back, and I became aroused out of my own will. Who gets scared and aroused because of the same person at the same time?
DAISYLila disappeared before I could face her.Mother pulled me into another long hug, rubbing my back soothingly. She pulled away and scanned my entire body with her eyes.“Are you okay? Did he hurt you?”“I am fine.” My lips curled into a small smile.“I am so glad you're back,” Dad said as he pulled me into a hug.“It’s really hard to believe that Lila betrayed us like that,” Violet said, still struggling to process it.“How did she evade my lie-detecting power?” Mother wondered aloud.“Stop worrying about her. Let’s focus on killing Gabriel once and for all. I know the secret to ending him now,” I told them.“What’s the secret?” Axel asked curiously.“Ashes from his last fallen body, his blood, and a silver knife stabbed directly into his heart,” I muttered.“We have the ashes.” Father darted his gaze toward Gabriel’s body, which had been burned to a crisp. “We have a silver knife, but how do we get his blood?”“I have it. I took it from his den,” I said. “Let’s go on and—”“Dais
DAISYI quickly grabbed a pair of grey sweatpants and a shirt and slipped them on.“Where is our mate? We need to get to him. I can feel him, but the connection is weak. We need to save him,” Kira growled in my head.I rushed out of the room, ran down the stairs, and stopped the first Omega I saw.“Luna!” Her eyes widened in shock.“Where is Gideon?” I asked quickly.“There was a war. Alpha fought so hard to protect us, and he won,” she told me.“So where is he now?”“He is in the hospital. I heard he is unconscious, but the doctors are attending to him,” she said.“So he is alive?” I asked to confirm. She nodded. “Yes.”A wave of relief flooded my chest.“And the pack is safe now?” I asked. She nodded again.“Where have you been, Luna?” she asked curiously. “A whole lot went down while you were away.”“I need you to pass a message to Beta Ethan. Tell him you saw me and that I am fine. But there is something I have to go deal with,” I told her. “Do you understand?”“Yes,” she replied
DAISY“What did you find?” Gabriel asked her.She turned to look at him and slowly shook her head.Relief filled my chest.Gabriel grunted before abruptly turning around and heading toward the door.“Follow me. We are going together,” he muttered.“Where are we going?” Lila asked him.He paused and half-turned to look at us. “Since she has refused to talk, we'll have to force her. It seems losing her mate is not enough for her.”“What do you want to do?” I quickly asked, my chest tightening.“I am bringing your parents here. And I'll put a silver knife to their throats. Let's see if you'll refuse to talk then.”With that, he continued on his way, exiting the room.Lila glanced at me for a few seconds, her expression unreadable, before finally following him.The moment they were gone, I called Kira.“What do we do? How do we get out? We need to leave before he reaches them,” I said quickly.“I have been regenerating my energy, and I think I am ready to attempt a breakthrough of the par
DAISYI had never felt so helpless in my life. I was in constant physical pain. I couldn't stop thinking about Gideon and the attack that was planned on his pack. Would he conquer them, or would he be conquered? Fear continued to roam through my entire being.I wished. I desperately wished I could free myself and go help him. I couldn't even imagine how he would feel right now after my disappearance. My chest tightened, and my stomach churned. My mother. My father. I knew how hard they would be trying to find me right now. I couldn't imagine how worried everyone would be. Gabriel was powerful, and finding me would be an almost impossible task. I knew he had placed a heavy cloak over me.I needed to save myself. But how could I when his spells, which almost drew my soul out, kept making me weaker and weaker?"Missed me?"Gabriel's voice grated on my ears as he walked in, and I instantly panicked. He was about to put me through so much pain again. He came to stand beside me, folding his
GIDEONI grabbed Magnus by the throat, lifting him up and slamming him against a tree. His legs dangled as he wrapped his hands around mine, struggling to loosen my grip from his neck. He was choking, his face turning blue.“What gave you the audacity to think you could win against me? Your Alpha King!” I growled loudly. He couldn't speak. He just kept making choking sounds.I finally released my grip on his neck. He tried to scramble away, but I grabbed his leg and pulled him back. Then I quickly snapped his neck, but not enough to kill him. He fell unconscious.I mind-linked some of my men who were patrolling the woods and ordered them to drag him to the dungeon. The moment they arrived and grabbed him, I rushed out of the woods to join my men in fighting the soldiers who dared to attack my pack.Ethan was controlling the battle well. My father had also joined the fight. I pulled out my sword, slashing through the opposing soldiers as I advanced. One by one, they started dropping de
GIDEONWe returned to the witches' land, and all the Elders were summoned to combine their powers and search for the Kingdom’s princess. Daisy’s personal items were acquired and used to perform location spells, trying to break through the barrier Gabriel had placed on her. But every single spell failed. They continued relentlessly, determined to find her. This went on throughout the entire night as they desperately tried to break the barrier Gabriel had created. By the next morning, I had to return to the West for the hunting game. I arrived late, as all the Alphas were already waiting for me.“I am sorry, Alphas,” I said as I approached where they stood waiting for me in the pack square. “I had something really important to deal with. Shall we begin?”They seemed slightly annoyed, but they kept their complaints to themselves.“Let’s begin,” their voices chorused. My eyes scanned each and every one of them, wondering which of them was planning to overthrow me.“I don’t see your Luna w
VIOLET Ring ring ring. The sound of my phone ringing woke me up from my deep sleep. I groggily reached for it from the nightstand, and without even glancing at the caller ID, I picked it up and placed the phone to my ear. “Hello…” my voice dragged into the phone. “Violet, dear, did I wake you

VIOLET Mustering every ounce of strength within me, I jammed my elbow backward, forcefully striking his stomach. “That was hard,” he said as he finally released his hands from my eyes. I flipped around, rage vibrating through me. My eyes narrowed when I realized who it was—Emily’s brother.
VIOLET“Who are you?” I asked the voice in my head. “I am Onyx. Your wolf. I’m glad to finally meet you,” she responded warmly. I was about to ask more questions when Axel jumped off the car hood, interrupting me. “So, met your wolf yet?” “No,” I blurted out. Suddenly, he seemed even more
