“You know you could have just let the female servants prepare breakfast.” Blake scoffed out as he turned his gaze towards Lisa while he sat at the dining table.

Lisa turned her gaze up to him instantly and when their gaze met, she took her face away quickly, trying to avoid Blake's tempting eyes.

“I prefer preparing it myself.”She uttered, her voice thick and hasty.

Having Heard that, Blake rose himself up quickly and took one last sip of coffee from a teacup on the table and as he glanced at Lisa one more time, he felt she had been trying to avoid his gaze.

Without a word, Blake began walking towards the exit but paused as soon as Lisa's voice echoed. “Where are you going?.” She questioned as her gaze was still fixed on Zoey.

“How should that be a problem to you?” Blake asked as he turned to meet her gaze.

Lisa stood firmly as she tried to recall why she had asked such a dumb question. “It's not, never mind.” Lisa finally spoke as she returned, feeding Zoey her breakfast.
