{NEW YORK CITY, 8:55}

“Here’s the contract file, Alpha,” John announced as he handed Aiden a file folder. “We’ve been waiting for your return to send feedback to Prescott cooperation.”

As John returned to his seat, Aiden began to carefully read through the documents. Cass, standing nearby, fidgeted nervously, his hands clutching his pants.

“What about the CEO of Prescott cooperation?” Aiden asked while his gaze scanned the room. “It’s important for both CEOs to be present when we sign this contract.” He added.

Cass clenched his eyes shut, fear and frustration coursing through him. He knew Aiden wouldn’t sign the contract without seeing the CEO of Prescott cooperation, and he had no idea how to make that happen.

As he inhaled deeply, preparing to say something, a deep voice echoed from the door. “I apologize for my tardiness,” Daniel announced as he entered the room with a confident smile on his face. “It’s an honor to meet the board members and Alpha Aiden.”
