Shawn’s POV

The morning sun had just begun to rise over the Blood Moon camp. Martins and I were already up and getting ready to hit the road to the warrior's camp close to the mansion.

As we were leaving, Shadowvale stood in front of us. “Why does it look like you are sneaking out on me?”

I smiled. “Why would I? I informed you of our little trip, did I not?”

“Bring the boy back,” He replied and walked away.

“He could have just told me to come back. Why talk like I was not just standing right here?”

“We will go in as knights for the fight tomorrow, then I will leave you and execute my plan. Do you understand?”
