Chapter 104: Last Chance

Diane's POV

As I slipped into the hospital, I started searching for their document center. It was difficult given the fact that I wasn't a worker there plus I had no idea where I was going.

But in large sophisticated places, there was always something that could help in situations like mine, a map.

Quickly, I walked towards the center of the reception area where the map was mounted on a vertical display board.

It showed the direction to various departments and ward direction but none was what I needed.

I was already growing impatient when my eyes landed on the administrative floor. If the document center was going to be anywhere, then it had to be there.

So, quickly, I turned around and headed to the elevator.

"Hello ma'am," the security beside the elevator greeted.

I felt my heart jump in my throat as I feared he might have smelled foul on me but seeing the smile on his face I calmed myself as I realized that he was just being friendly.

"Hello," I replied with a warmer smile and th
