Chapter 67: A word from Jonas

Judah started to wake up, and he yawned.

"U-uncle Jonas? When did you come in?" Judah asked him when he saw Jonas smiling at him. He knew he had retired, and what was he doing there inside his father's room?

He was the one who taught him everything when his father wasn't around when he was still young.

"A moment ago. I was collecting something, but I saw you sleeping. Did you take a good nap?"

"Yeah. I didn't mean to fall asleep, but I was too tired. I don't mean to slack on my work, but-"

"No. If you're tired, you need to sleep. You can't lead a kingdom if you're exhausted, now, can you?"

Judah shook his head.

"Don't ever feel bad for putting your needs first if necessary. A great leader cares for themselves almost as much as they care for others. Haven't I taught you that?"

Judah nodded, rubbing his eyes and standing to his feet. He was still a bit tired but could focus better now that he had slept.

"Thanks, uncle," Judah said.
