Aminda's POV

Everyone had left, and an ambulance had taken Lance's body. The place that not long ago was so alive and full of joy now fell deserted and gloomy. "I think you should go home, Kian." I was still shaken. All of this was unreal. Lance didn't deserve this. I want to find out who did it and what their motive was. But in order to do it, I need to use black magic. There are consequences, though. If I keep using it, there will be no way back, but I have to if I want to save him.

"There's no way I'd leave you alone after what happened. Princess, you're still in shock. You need me. Please, say that you do." He kissed my forehead and held me tight. There was no denying it. I really needed him all the time. I nodded, with my head still buried on his chest. "We'll figure it out together, Aminda." I teleported us to my home. That night, I slept in his arms. It was only then that I could ever sleep with his arms around me. I needed him like I needed air.
