Alpha Julian’s POV

Alpha Julian woke up to the sight of his mate, Rosella, lying next to him. He buried his face in the nook of her neck and breathed in her scent. It brought him peace, and he loved it.

“Good afternoon baby,” he greeted her.

“Did I really sleep for that long?” Rosella asked. Her voice was still hoarse from all the screaming from last night. They hadn't slept until morning, and if Julian was being honest right now, he was still hard for her.

“Technically no, considering we both didn’t sleep until morning,” Julian replied before pressing his lips against hers. Rosella was his weakness, and he didn’t mind. He would be there for her as long as she needed him. He was her safe haven now.

“Guess what kept me up late at night?” Rosella asked softly. Julian pulled her closer and kissed her squarely on the lips. If he was allowed, he wouldn't mind another round here, but something about his mate told him she wouldn’t be thrilled at the idea, considering how sore she was.
