Analyn POV
I knew I couldn't delay this too much. I had to take Ambrose right into the trap and let him meet his mother.
I could see he could hardly contain his curiosity when I told him about her. But you know what they say, curiosity killed the cat.
"Tonight. After I spend time with our kids, we are going to see her, but you have to promise me something," I said.
Ambrose lifted his brow. "What's that?"
"You won't believe everything she says or listen to everything she tells you. Only focus on me," I let him know.
"What could she possibly do to me? She's my mother," Ambrose scoffed.
I did not want to tell him the things she told me and how she killed his father. It was not the time to make him angry.
"Hey, just listen to me for once, okay?" I insisted.
"Fine," he barked.
"Are you going to apologize to everyone for what you did?" I asked on the way back.
Ambrose narrowed his eyes. "Apologize?" he looked at
Ambrose POVI stared at my so called mother. The woman in black. I could feel the dark aura surrounded her. She had the same green eyes as me, the same bone structures but that didn't stop me from feeling like she was a stranger."So it's you. My son, all grown up," Rania said. "I am not your son," I barked. I wasn't here to exchange pleasantries. I wanted answers."Ah, resilient. Just like your father." Rania's jaw tightened. "I gave birth to you so that makes me your mother.""You were never there for me when I grew up and that makes you a stranger," I argued. "Why did my father banish you?""Straight to point, huh? Well. Your father never agreed with my lifestyle. He married me because he thought I was some kind of an angel. All because he thought I was beautiful," she laughed. "He was stupid because I never loved him."She stared at me intently as if she was waiting for me to react."Why did you want me to
Analyn POVEarlier that day, I gave my all to learn the transference spell. It wasn't simple because there were several elements to it that I needed to get right in order for it to work. On the bright side, I only had to chant one word aside from using magic.I knew I could do it. I wasn't afraid."You can transfer the evil to another animal when Rania drags it out of Ambrose, but you can't kill it," Sylvia said."Why not?" I looked at her questioningly."Because if you kill it, it will release into the world and find another host again.""Then what can I do?" I asked."You will have to trap it in a bag with the binding spell, then bury it. Preferably underground somewhere where no one can find it again," Sylvia said.Deep underground...that makes sense."Be sure to put pick a weak animal, so it doesn't attack you and kill you," Sylvia warned me.What poor animal can I pick? I felt bad for all of them, but I had t
Ambrose POV"What did you do to my father?" I said with gritted teeth."Alright, if you really must know, then I will tell you. I've been wanting to take revenge on alpha Marquise for many years, and when I finally had a chance to summon a creature like the drider, I jumped on it. I sent him your way so he could kill him."You killed my father!" I roared. I never imagined I would have a mother like that. So ugly and full of hatred."He was an asshole, and he did not understand my vision." Rania yawned as if I was boring her with this conversation."You murdered him," I repeated. I was at a loss for words."Your father was not as strong and powerful as you and I, but he was skilled. I knew sending somebody ordinary was not going to work, so I had to summon the monster from the depth of hell. He is quite the creature, isn't he?" Rania smirked."Who is the drider? How can I kill him?" I demanded to know."You can't kill him," Rani
Theodore POV"No way! You drowned your birth mother while she was frozen!" I exclaimed when I heard Ambrose and Ana's story. I couldn't believe what they had been through over there. I wish I could've helped. But I was back here drowning in my own misery."I didn't exactly drown her," Ambrose said irritably. "She is a fae. The water can't kill her. Nothing kills her. I just trapped her in there, and Ana sealed it with magic.""Remind me not to cross you, man.""Everything is going to be fine from now on," Ambrose reassured me."I have been meaning to ask you, but what happened in the demon world?" Ana asked and looked at me curiously."Shit, I've been trying to forget about it ever since I got back." I shivered as I thought about that horrible place. I decided to tell her everything so she knew what she did to me.When I entered that portal, I knew something was wrong immediately. For one, it did not lo
Analyn POV I could finally breathe. The evil inside Ambrose was finally gone, and he was back to being my grumpy but occasionally sweet husband. "Do you feel any different?" I asked him. After we got back, I took the mouse to an underground bunker and sealed its door with magic, just like how I did it with his mother in the well. I created a garden on top of the bunker, so no one knows it even exists. "No, you still annoy me," Ambrose narrowed his eyes. I laughed and kissed the top of his nose. "I'm just glad you won't hurt anyone anymore." "I will never try to hurt you or my children again if that's what you're worried about. I will protect them with my life. Thank you for doing what you did back there," he said and pulled me into an embrace. "What are we going to do about the drider?" I asked. "We have no idea where he is, and it will be nearly impossible to find him without Rania's help. So we will have to tread carefully and keep out eyes peeled," Ambrose said. "What if he
Theodore POV I was back in the demon world. There was no one around like the first time, but this time I felt the presence behind me. I smelled the scent of perfume. It was sweet, almost hypnotizing. I felt dizzy. Then I found myself lying flat on the ground, looking up at the sky. It was a mix of colors: blue, red, and purple. It was unlike any sky I had ever seen before. "Where am I?" I wondered aloud. "You are with me," a melodious, breathy voice answered, but I still didn't see anyone near me. Was she invisible? "Who are
Theodore POV I didn't tell anyone about my dreams except Ana and Ambrose. I wanted to keep last night a secret but I decided to tell them again. It still felt surreal to me and I needed their guidance."I've never experienced anything like this," I said after describing everything."It has to be something to do with portal. Something must've followed you here," Ambrose looked thoughtful. "I know! The portal was still open for a few more minutes so maybe someone crossed over after we left," Ana chirped. Her eyes glowed with excitement. "It must be a girl and she wants your booty." she giggled. "Don't make assumptions. It could be a guy." Ambrose smirked. "I'm glad you guys find this funny because I don't. Whoever she is, she has been using my body without my permission. she is taking advantage of me," I announced. I shivered as I remembered the pleasure I felt. "You are right. This is no joking matter. We should fin
Irinira POV"You aren't Charlotte," the beautiful man named Theodore said. He stood in front of me with sadness and anger written all over his face. His voice was barely audible, and he looked like he was having difficulty breathing. He must really love that Charlotte person. It made me envious, but I decided to keep playing the game. I was here to have some fun, and fun is what I shall have.I floated closer and touched his scarred cheek. He flinched but didn't push my hand away. His light grey eyes were sad and dark, he reminded me of a puppy. How cute."So what if I'm not? She is your dream woman, isn't she? Well I am here to make your dream come true," I cooed and snaked my arms around his neck."Who are you?" Theo asked again and pushed me off. If I hadn't held my ground firmly, I would've stumbled backward. He must have a lot of anger inside him.Silly boy."I am Charlotte," I teased and let out a breathy laugh."Cut the
